Everything! As soon as you take the left turn and start to drive down towards the house through the fields you feel you’re heading towards something special! We got such a warm friendly welcome and loved that we were asked to pre order our breakfast. Our room was no.1 and it was just amazing, so spacious with lovely views of the surrounding countryside! The bathroom was so big with a lovely big shower and stand alone bath. The bed was very comfortable and had a lovely night’s sleep. Breakfast was lovely and the lady could not more any more helpful and told us what things we could do in the local area! We would def book again!

Nothing!!!

It was made clear beforehand that it was not a hotel but there was an option to have a home cooked meal in the evening and that was so welcome and useful not to have to go out again especially as the grounds and the room were so nice. I liked that we were given a key to the front door and that was locked later in the evening so it all felt very safe. We loved the view of the grounds from our window and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was delicious including the coffee. The bed was comfortable and big and the shower was good. Very happy with our choice.

It was all lovely.

Beautiful location.

There was a recent change and the property no longer provides evening refreshment (although it was mentioned in their email). They did have menus available for meal delivery.

An amazing welcome from the staff, extremely helpful and provided all information at reception. I was here on a business trip however i will be coming back again with my family as the location is perfect. Beautiful high ceiling bedroom and "Could swing a tiger" (For Any Alan Partridge Fans). Room was HUGE!! I honestly thought i booked a suite however it was just a standard room i booked. Breakfast was fine and again a nice pleasant welcoming from the lady who's in charge. May i remind everyone who does visit this place, this is ran by 1 person, who does breakfast's, cleaning, looking after guests and works extreme hours so full respect for the lady. Thank you once again.

Fabulous stately home with all the character you’d expect from the 1720s. Stunning location over acres of fields and lakes. No noise whatsoever from the road or sky! Chloe the host was amazing and could not have been more helpful. If you want a little of the Downton Abbey lifestyle then stay here! Also the cooked breakfast was delicious. Good for families too with a separate games room (pool and table football etc).

No dislikes.

Booked pretty late but was hugely impressed with everything about The Clock Tower . I was given a lovely warm welcome by Chloe who took my breakfast order and recommended a great pub for dinner . Set in beautiful grounds , this traditional property had to be seen to be appreciated . My room had a 4 poster bed in a spacious, well equipped room , an attached smaller bedroom and a wonderful bathroom with a central free standing bath , a shower and twin sinks ! Lovely and quiet , slept like a log and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast . Perfect and at a great price , thanks very much . I will be visiting again !

Nothing to complain about at all

Beautiful setting, very good value, lovely old house with huge rooms. The lady that checked us in was lovely, the breakfast was hot & filling with a pretty good choice fir everyone. Would definitely stay again when visiting family in the area.

For us the beds were too hard & our shower didn't work.

I received a warm and helpful welcome from the lovely young lady. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Beautiful grounds and a peaceful night's sleep. I didn't have time for breakfast, sadly.

It is a wonderful old mansion with beautiful high-ceilinged rooms, well-appointed and fantastic staff.

If you don’t like stairs, this is probably not a place for you to stay; because of the high ceilings, there are quite a few stairs for each floor.
