The venue is smart, with the bedrooms situated above the golf club clubhouse. The room was clean and tidy, and best described as "executive", neat and functional rather than overly luxurious, which in my view was a very good thing. A big set of 4 Velux windows opened up into a "standing balcony" overlooking the 18th green and a peaceful (April midweek) view over the golf course. The bathroom had a good dual-head shower, and hot water/water pressure was great for a nice, relaxing shower after a long journey. There were excellent quality tea/coffee facilities in the room, and was particularly pleased to see Taylor's coffee bags – so much better than instant coffee. If golf is your thing, the course looked in excellent shape. On arrival, Reception was quick and low fuss, with a night entrance for guests explained well. The bar was busy on my arrival, mostly with golfers having a drink, but drinks service was quick and efficient, and the staff were attentive. There was no evening meal service since, after the last golfers had left (just after 6pm in April), the majority of the site was locked down. That said, the room key also acted as a private access card to entrance gates, and a side entrance to the clubhouse. There was CCTV everywhere, and so the site (and my car) appeared pretty secure, with a night manager (on site) also being available on a mobile number in an emergency. In the morning, I made my presence known at the bar, and returned to the dining area where my order for breakfast was quickly taken and served. I had the full breakfast (a rare treat) - and it ranks as one of the BEST cooked breakfasts I have had when staying in a hotel. The toast was fresh, thick sliced bloomer bread, the sausages were both a superb breakfast style sausage and absolutely enormous, and the bacon thick and tasty. Worth the stay for the Breakfast alone - and the best I have tasted for some years.

These rooms had a number of things that didn't work - like the air-con, and the "insert card for power" common in many hotel rooms BUT this should NOT detract from the quality of the rooms or the service - which was all friendly, helpful and contributed to an excellent stay. The electric car charging system was a challenging thing to use - with an app and a login needed, but even when that was done - I could not make it work. It seemed to default to Montenegro as a location! I just think it was an app/instructions/user issue - but I gave up anyway.

Mostly we enjoyed the room, comfortable and nicely appointed, nice view over the car park area towards the entrance. Breakfast was really enjoyed with all of our requests well met by your staff, all this whilst viewing the golf course and the active golfers practicing and teeing off !.

We would have liked the room to be much cooler ! ( we stayed at your facility during one of the hottest days of the year ) The air con was not in operation and all our efforts to bring the system into operation failed ! We assume this was known because a small table mounted fan had been placed in the room before our arrival.

The room we had overnight was really lovely, having a large shower, coffee making facilities and a large comfortable bed. Opening up the 2 half doors and 2 angled windows there was a balcony and the most beautiful view across the golf course. Plenty of parking and not too far from Bewdley town centre. Perfect.

You do need to have a car available as the town of Bewdley is 1 mile away down a very steep hill.

Fabulous staff, really lovely breakfast that was freshly cooked, the room was a great size, had a small balcony and a fabulous view.

Food was only served until 6.30pm (only 4pm during the week) and the bar was only open until 8pm which I think is a bit limiting if you are a hotel guest. At least have a sandwich menu available for after 6.30pm/4pm for hotel guests

Was first appalled to learn after booking and paying that "golf and country club" food service ended at 4pm and bar closed at six!!!! Had driven 3 hours from Windsor to use Wharton Park as base to race at Shelsley Walsh. Arrived to find delightful staff girl running bar for friendly golfers right through to nightfall. 4pm food temporary. Need more good chefs. Breakfast, daytime food service undoubtedly very good. Top class rooms; everyone helpful; totally forgiven.

Lovely quiet room with a comfy bed on beautiful grounds, the room was modern with a big shower. Lots of parking available. Breakfast wasn't included but was reasonably priced and had great vegetarian options that included free orange juice and a nice view of the golfers. Staff were friendly and helpful.

WiFi was a little intermittent but it was only because of the big event going on, the next day it was super fast so it was not a big issue.

It would have been nice if we had the option of a small table and chairs to sit out on the Balcony. Folding table and folding chairs would have been lovely.

Toast at breakfast was made from very nice granary bread. The “full English” breakfast for my partner was deemed very nice and substantial. Breakfast morning two (Day 2). Lady who was serving was ready 100% as breakfast period began. Coffee was piping hot this time and much nicer that Day One. Our room overlooked the tee-off area and patio and scenery was very green and relaxing. Noise/music from Patio on the Saturday night (about which we had been forewarned) was not excessive and ended by midnight. We loved the Velux windows that opened up onto a small balcony. Kettle/tea/coffee in the room was a lovely touch.

Breakfast morning one (Day 1): Not all breakfast items were ready/laid out when we arrived. I would have appreciated the offer of a 2nd cup of coffee as the first one was not quite piping hot.

Wow what can I say absolutely incredible from start to finish , the views from the room are stunning it’s so peaceful also ! Room was absolutely amazing and spotless ! Pure white walls no marks no finger prints carpet spotless shower room stunning ! Breakfast and coffee incredible! Beds comfy :) fixtures beautiful and classy ! Outstanding all staff so friendly :) thank you :) will be returning !

It was all positive - I’d like to see a vending machine if only for bottled water and drinks :) as not many shops local walking that we could find :)
