It was lovely to be greeted by a courtyard full of the sight and scent of flowers! A lot of time and effort clearly goes into maintaining them. The bed was deliciously comfortable, the room cosy and welcoming, and, despite its location on the corner of a junction, we weren't disturbed by traffic at all. Parking in the car park is limited but there's parking along the boundary wall, which should mean you can get a space. We didn't have a problem. Breakfast was excellent! I'm particularly impressed that a cooked breakfast can be presented without the oiliness that so often accompanies the Full English. The staff are helpful and friendly, with tips on shortcuts, eateries and attractions. If you are looking for something very close to the centre of Cirencester but not slap dab in the middle, I think you would be hard pressed to find a guesthouse that ticks so many boxes.

There was very little to dislike. If I'm being picky, then the flexible hose showerhead was damaged in our bathroom.

The Old Brewhouse is well located, within walking distance to a laundry shop, the Parish church, market place, shops, cafes and restaurants. The bed is comfortable. The room comes with all the usual amenities. Wifi works well. Breakfast was home cooked and overall a homely feel. It's a small property with a central courtyard which is very pretty with all the colourful plants.

The room (I mean the space) is a little tight. I had a hard time opening my luggage bag without hitting the wall. My room's window faces the car park, which lacks privacy. Fortunately there are not many people that go in and out of the accommodation.

Charming jewel box style B and B. Globally quiet, although street-facing rooms (5, 6, etc) are slightly noisy in the morning. Easy free parking (max 3 minutes walking if full on the spot).

--breakfast time is between 8 and 9AM : that means that the +/- 20 guests must squeeze in that bracket. We arrived at 8.30AM the 3 mornings: first morning, we had to wait 20 minutes, second morning 40 minutes, third, 5 minutes... This system might be improved. --also, as in many hotels in UK, no air-con ; room 6 under the roof might be scorching hot when outside temperature exceeds 25C. But all in all, I recommend the place.

George kindly welcomed us to the property told us about his favorite dining places. The room was lovely with a sitting area in the garden courtyard. Breakfast was a glorious affair (my favorite of all 24 days in Europe!). Mandy prepared the most delicious meal to order while our server could not have been more delightful! The dining area was so pretty and the breakfast experience was a perfect start to our day. The location is nestled in the heart of the village and we enjoyed the history that we learned from a local named Martin. Love the Old Brewhouse!!!

Breakfast room is a lovely area decorated in the period chamr of the main house. The location was perfect for our planned venues and the Town is very nice iwth good pubs/restaurants and shops.

The only gripe was my daughter stayed in Room 5 (Family Room) and it was hot and struggled to reach the windows to allow ventilation. Also the Cot my other daughter used in Room 8 had a very hard base but we should have asked for help with that as I am sure this would have been solved.

Clear info provided for checking in. Great location, lovely courtyard garden and accommodation off this (room 8). Easy walk to town center. Gorgeous toiletries provided, heating controlled in the room so perfect for us to set as we wanted. Tea, coffee, fresh bottled water and biscuits provided. Plus slippers so every need met. Fabulous breakfast in a really pretty room, trimmed up beautifully for Christmas.

Parking is tight, but is on the premises and is free. We struggled to exit the garden - a quick telephone call and we realised our error. Maybe include this info with the booking email.

Self check in later on the evening was very easy, we managed to park our car easily too. The courtyard room was lovely, nice and cosy. The bed was super comfortable too, we had a great night's sleep. The wifi was great and the staff were very nice when we saw them at breakfast times. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast both mornings too, lots of options and freshly cooked. Really nice stay overall.

The only small issue for me was there were several cobwebs around the room. Above the door, some on the walls too. The velux window was also very difficult to open with the pole provided and I was worried I would break it but the weather was so warm we needed the fresh air. It seemed like it hadn't been opened for a long time as it was full of bits of stuff and cobwebs etc. which dropped on the bathroom floor when we got it open.

Breakfast (scrumptious and varied) and room (comfortably and clean with easy access) were excellent. Good location for exploring the town. Communication with the hotel owners before the stay was excellent.

It was a bit tricky to get to the hotel due to the food festival road diversions (not the fault of the hotel!) but the location for the town was good. We were lucky to get parking at the hotel but there was not quite enough for all guests and the carpark close by was very expensive. Didn't affect us this stay but would be a worry (due to mobility) another time...hopefully the hotel owners would be able to reserve a space if necessary. It was a bit strange not to be welcomed on arrival or see anyone until the next morning, but this is just a different way of doing things.

Great traditional English breakfast. Lovely breakfast room. Very happy with our room. Beautiful wet room. Plenty of mirrors. If we are visiting Cirencester again, we would definitely return to The Old Brewhouse.

We were happy with our stay. If you are looking to change things, we would suggest the courtyard could be flatter, with less gaps between the slabs which could be a hazzard in high heels!! Also more lighting on the path and the step to the door to the room.

The room was clean & the beds were cozy. Toilet with heated floor and heated towel rack. Breakfast was great and was served hot in a little cozy room. Beautiful courtyard. Parking available within compound or roadside curb. Short walking distance to town centre.

We booked 5 rooms - 3 rooms at ground floor and 2 rooms at upper flloor - Little spiral stair to upper floor- if you have big luggage - pack a small package for a night of 2 and leave the big luggage in the car.
