The hotel is centrally located in lovely Shrivenham with plenty of parking in front and at the rear, where there is a beer garden and terrace. We stayed in a quiet, ground floor room in the annexe to the main building, which was well equipped with a very modern bathroom. There was more than adequate storage with a large wardrobe and chests of drawers with bedside lighting. The food at dinner and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Best of all was the welcome shown to us by the staff, who were attentive for the duration of our stay.

Tis is our second stay here I thought I had booked a room over the bar. But got a room at back of the bar little bungalows comfortable enough the beds are amazing great sleep all 3 nights had an issue with the blinds couldn't get them to come down Felicity from the bar came and sorted it breakfast is great 👍 tom was so good 👍 can get a bit noisy at the weekend but it is a bar after all Lol 😀

Great place to stay for Oxford or Cotswolds, understand t new management, with a great team headed by Rob . The breakfast are amazing, with quality meals using locally sourced fresh produce & meats too. Rooms & beds are very comfy. Referb is on going and will improve along the way. Naomi heads a great team and James has made a difference to the new team. Well done . Great potential for the future . As a trained hotel, restaurant,cruise ship , service assessment Director ( retired) l feel well placed to review this property, well done team! Also there are buses outside the property going to Oxford and Swindon every 20mins ! Don't even need a car !

Carpark surfuce has some loose slabs , but are under repair this week , so will soon be level again .

Friendly and helpful staff - I felt incredibly welcome and they answered all my questions. It was a beautiful room with a very comfy bed and great shower. The breakfast was delicious too! In a great location & would happily stay again.

Not a complaint at all, but be aware that some of the rooms are up a few narrow stairs - not surprising due to the type of building so not their fault! They also have other rooms too so it could be something easy to avoid 😊

Very friendly stuff, who would go out of there way to help you. Fantastic breakfast in the morning again with very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend The Barrinton Arms to anyone who is travelling to that area, I will 100% be booking there again the next time I'm in that area. Thank you

Nice old building, the guest accommodation is chalet style, separate to the pub. They were not offering evening meals when we stayed but directed us the pub opposite which had a good pub menu. The staff at the Barrington were very helpful and responsive.

Friendly, helpful staff and accommodation was clean and comfortable.

Despite having forewarned them I was vegan, breakfast was not set up to accommodate. However, there was a lovely lady serving breakfast who sorted something out for me and took the time to ask what would have been good for me.

25 pounds extra for dog in room which I thought was steep but I hadnt booked a dog friendly room beforehand so I appreciated them letting me stay at all.

Lovely village, great bar with excellent selection of beers, pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable bed, hot shower, good facilities in the room

WiFi poor throughout building, breakfast a bit on the basic side during the week albeit with a good selection

Had to change room as needed ground floor but was sorted out quickly. One thing missing in the new chalet was a lightshade.,didn't look good at all.
