Exceeded our expectations on all fronts!!!! Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared using local ingredients and from their organic farm! Also had dinner which was fantastic! Warm and inviting atmosphere. Staff were attentive, friendly and cheeky! Rooms were unique and very clean! Relaxed vibe, one of the best places we have ever stayed in England! Have already booked for next year!!!

There is nothing that I would change, it was absolutely perfect!!!

The rooms were located in an annexe, but very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. The food was delicious with a good choice and nicely presented. The chatty host for breakfast was attentive and good humoured. Breakfast was tasty and fresh.

I absolutely loved my stay here!! I pulled up in the car park, surrounded by beautiful scenery and made my way to the reception area where i received a very warm welcome. I was checked in very quickly and shown to my room by the very friendly staff. The room was accessed from a lovely little courtyard and was beautifully presented with a mixture of traditional and rustic features. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed, tea / coffee supplies, a fan to keep the room cool and a beautiful bathroom with toiletries included. After we had settled into our room we made our way over to the restaurant and had some of the delicious local pork. The food and the service in the restaurant was superb and we even met the owners who thanked us for staying with them, which i thought was a lovely personal touch. Nothing seemed too much for the wonderful staff here, and i would definitely recommend staying here. Love love love, and hope to be back soon :)

I loved everything, the only addition i would like is a little mini fridge in the room. Thats it.

Tim was an exceptional and memorable host, going above and beyond to ensure every detail of our visit was perfect. From his warm welcome to his expert recommendations for exploring the stunning countryside, he made us feel truly at home. The cozy rooms, farm-to-table dining, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventures made our 4-day trip a delight. Celebrating the New Year in such a vibrant yet serene setting was truly special—thank you, Tim, for making it so memorable!

Loved the room with the roll top bath as well as a separate shower, thank you. Loved the fresh milk for our early morning coffees! Fantastic bed linen. Beautifully clean so could completely relax. Courtyard sunny. Actually one of the nicest days sitting there!

The only tiny thing was people parking outside the bedroom window but not much you can do about that! The Blinds at the windows were great.... Also - if we hadn't reminded the check out staff that we had had more drinks than they had on their Bill, you would have lost out.....!

Loved absolutely everything about it, the communal area for the hotel was fantastic and the eclectic selection of comfortable chairs in there was an excellent introduction to how the hotel is appointed. Our room itself was perfect. The sofa was very comfortable, the bed was one of the best and the bathroom was spotless. It’s the kind of place you visit and it gives you inspiration for what you’d like to do in your own place. Down to the wardrobe made of scaffolding. Everything is so beautifully appointed. How welcoming they were to us and our dogs was a real highlight for our trip. There’s everything you need and more here.

Absolutely nothing.

It's the second time we've stayed here and we'll be back again. The staff are lovely, really friendly and the food is great. Breakfast in particular is a feast with plenty of options on offer. The accommodation is set away from the pub/restaurant, although only a short distance. No complaints about the room, everything you might need in there. Telly, hairdryer, kettle etc. There's a small farm shop which has some lovely stuff in it. Almost forgot to mention the local beers on offer. Great selection, I had Malthouse craft beer I think it was called. Lovely! Can't recommend this place enough.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. So much effort has gone into making this an idyllic space. Beautiful, peaceful, friendly, and laid back. The food is AMAZING!! Fresh from their organic farm, heaps of veggie options. The network of walks that run from the door across the farm are so bucolic, and it's great to see so much focus on encouraging wildlife. Great base for walking the Ridgeway too. Highly recommended!

Perfectly placed gem. Quiet and pretty setting. Room had a super huge bed and two comfy armchairs. Decent size bathroom and lovely shower. It’s clean! There’s a lot of work gone into making your stay as pleasant as possible and that’s why we loved it. Mugs for your morning coffee. Plush towels and plump pillows. Wiled away a late evening hour in the cute ‘wallow’ and enjoyed a simply delicious breakfast. Everyone is genuinely friendly and welcoming.
