This has by far been the best stay. Syed made me feel welcome and looked after; he was even kind enough to greet me by my name each time our paths crossed and the room had been prepared with some chilled lo-fi music on the TV upon my arrival. As a solo traveller on a last minute getaway, this was exactly what I needed. All the staff was kind, impressively professional, and attentive. The restaurant is incredibly beautiful and the pan Asian food was delicious. The hotel is modern and tastefully decorated and the location is ideal. Overall, it has felt like a luxurious retreat and I would highly recommend staying here. I personally cannot wait to return. Thank you to the Snooty Mehmaan for a restorative stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. We were impressed with with the cleanliness of the hotel.

It's not so much as we didn't like, but our only negatives would be that the rooms were smaller than expected. Although the first hot drink at breakfast was included, subsequent drinks were charged. Extra little touch like refills at breakfast should be included. Disappointingly, any little extras at breakfast were not entertained even though the hotel was not fully booked. You had to stay with what's offered on the menu.

The location was just outside the main town of Faringdon so travelling by car provided independence. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming, making the experience personalised. The food in the evening was very nice as was the breakfast. Both of which leveraged the culture and theme of the hotel. Bedrooms, facilities, and parking all made our stay frictionless and enjoyable. As a base, it is ideal to tour the Cotswolds.

Minor comment for potential improvement would be to provide soft pillows as an option.

The care and attention given by all staff. They absolutely went above and beyond to ensure I had the most enjoyable stay. I had a very late check in huge thankyou to Sayeed for looking after me. My bag was carried to my room, relaxing music was playing on the tv and the bed had been made for one which I thought was a very thoughtful touch . The room was warm and spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom split into 2 areas which I really liked. Breakfast and checkout times were generous and you receive text communication of both booked breakfast time and again on the day at the time of your breakfast. The waiters were kind and attentive and even poured your tea. Breakfast was of a lovely quality and plentiful. I would definitely stay here again thankyou for looking after me so well 🙂

In all honesty nothing

The room was spacious, with comfortable furnishings. The hotel was generally quiet, and everything was clean and in good repair. The staff

The exit from the carpark is difficult, being on a busy road and near a blind bend where lorries and cars come around at high speed. We were nervous each time we had to leave the carpark. We also would have liked a mirror and a shelf in the bathroom, as there was nowhere to put anything and difficult for my partner to shave without a mirror. We also had a hard time filling the kettle because the sink was so small. It felt odd to have such a small sink, no shelves and no mirror in a bathroom so large. The wifi stopped working on the second night we were there, but the staff quickly rectified it by connecting us to their staff wifi.

This is an unusual gem of a place. Spotlessly clean, with excellent staff and service. The curry I had for dinner was one of the best I have had. The location was ideal for me as visiting relatives near by, and in the middle of Oxfordshire with fabulous countryside around. We went for a walk and once clear of the main road found a walk through a picture perfect English village and field of wheat ready to harvest.

The main downside is the hotel is on the very busy A420. Despite that there was little or no road noise inside. However getting in and out needs to be done with care, and our walk started with 100m along busy roadside (on a pavement) before escaping to quiet country lanes).

Service is 2nd to none. Offered to carry my bags to my room. Walked me to my room, rather than just giving me my key and leaving me to it. Rooms are modern and very clean. Aircon works, WiFi good. Nice shower, warm towel rail for the towels. Set of nice lotions and potions, if you don't have your own. Tea, Coffee and biscuits in the room. In the room the TV was playing some relaxing 'Spa' type music and video. Just a nice place to rest at the end of a long day. I needed an ironing board, which they brought to my room. Breakfast was great, made to order, the way I wanted. EXCELLENT service from the staff. presented really well on the plate. Evening meal was great as well, didn't mind paying the service charge, as there was actually 'real' service. Would come over and refill my glass, set the napkin on my lap. Made to feel first class. That level of service can feel a bit intrusive if you're not used to it, but works for me. Big carpark outside, and although its next to a main road, no noise.

Watch out for the bakes beans LOL in the breakfast. bit watery, and not quite the tase I'm used to, but hey. Everything else was spot on.

We totally loved our stay at the hotel, our room was upgraded. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. The whole place was spotless, food was delightful. We ate there every evening as it was so good, breakfast was fab. Hotel manager exceeded our expectations and could not have been more helpful or nice. Will highly recommend to any of our friends visiting the area. All in all a fab stay. Many thanks and we will definitely be returning.

Nothing at all to not like.

When we booked, we didn't realise it was an Indian restaurant. We were there for 3 days so I was able to try the 3 different 'Desi breakfasts' on offer.

Unfortunately, my wife doesn't eat any spiced foods and doesn't like Full English breakfasts either. There were no breakfast cereals but the waiting staff prepared toast and jam at her request. Others seemed to enjoy the pork-free breakfast with beef sausage and turkey bacon. We didn't go to the restaurant, for the obvious reason, though the reviews I read were great.

Good breakfast. An interesting choice of Indian and European/British full english etc. Comfortable rooms and really comfortable bed. Also, given the proximity of the A420 there was zero noise in the bedroom. The evening meal was excellent as well.

The pillows were huge. Probably a choice of pillows or at least ones where you don't end up looking at your feet rather than the ceiling! Also the bright auto light in the loo at night when it id dark burns your eyeballs to a crisp. Can there be a night setting please?
