Nice room in a quiet location. Good and varied breakfast. Water dispenser in the foyer was wonderful and essential, given the hot weather during our visit. Reception staff were helpful in supplying us with some toiletries we'd come without.
The pool was inadequate in size. We didn't even use it, due to the congestion. There should be a restriction on admission numbers, particularly since it is also open to non-residents. The spa facility is surely significant in the rating being 4*, but no use to us on this visit. Also, at least some of the gents lockers are difficult to operate and make secure. I wasn't able to access my hotel bill on our TV screen, in the room. In fact the greeting message showed the name of an earlier resident. Nearly every time we entered or left our room, there were trays of dirty crockery on the floor, outside adjoining rooms. There seemed to be little or no urgency for these to be cleared away quickly, resulting in lingering smells.

The staff were all very friendly, the room given was very clean and spacious, the swimming pool was good temperature, both the sauna and steam room was amazing, I liked that they had a place where you can fill your bottle up with water, the lobby it's self smelt amazing and fresh, the vibes were nice. The gym was also great it had a lot of equipment and you can use the gym at anytime which was even better.
Room service could have been better, we asked a couple times to get things sent to our room and they said we had to go down to get what we needed. Also the swimming pool is a bit too small, and it's all on one level no deep end so that could be improved. It felt a bit claustrophobic at times.

The breakfast was delicious and I loved the changing are for the pool I thought it was pretty and the facilites withing the changing area were great. I also loved having access to the swimming pool and steam room, made the weekend more relaxing. Also the water machine in reception was great and much needed!!
The swimming pool however was always really busy, it would have been nicer if the pool was bigger to accommodate all the people, especially children that were there. I think k if I was a local and wanted to use the leisure centre facilities I would be disappointed with how busy it was and I would feel ripped off. Additionally during my two night stay I ate at the restaurant only once because not only was it overpriced, what I received want very tasty and didn't match the discription on the menu.

This modern hotel was spacious and beautifully decorated. It combined a modern feel with comfort. All staff were very friendly and I appreciated immediate eye contact and acknowledgement from them even if I needed to wait for a minute. Breakfast was superb with a huge variety and the offer of porridge and eggs cooked to order. I congratulate the gardening/ground staff who clearly worked very hard on creating the feel of countryside with trees, shrubs and accessible walkways.
I would prefer walk in showers. Climbing in and out of a bath for more elderly people is not easy.

Room was nice with all you might need. Nice lounge where we can relax. Nice swimming pool with sauna and steam. Tennis court not that clean but empty, so that my son could spend time there.
The first night my son had a pasta dish but it was not tasty at all (not sure which cheese was used). I had a soup and it was very salted. Nicely, the staff offered something else but I did not accept (the soup was not charged). The day after we spent a lot for dinner, with service charge that I don't think it was applied the night before, plus I did not read it on the menu. We were disappointed.

Our stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott Swindon was fantastic! The staff were welcoming, and the facilities made our visit really special. One of the highlights was the free access to the pool and sauna—we loved having the opportunity to relax, and it was especially great being able to take our 5-month-old into the pool for a little swim. Breakfast was another standout, with a great variety of options to suit all tastes. Everything was fresh and well-stocked, making for a great start to the day. The only downside for us was the bed—the mattress and pillows were too soft for our liking, which made sleeping less comfortable than we’d hoped. However, this didn’t take away from the overall experience, and we’d still highly recommend the hotel for its excellent service, amenities, and family-friendly atmosphere.

Staff very nice and welcoming. We felt well looked after overall. Good price. Rooms very comfortable and mattress xl. Breakfast once ordered in advance was good value.
Didn't realise breakfast was not included until went to dining room on first morning. Breakfast manager in fairness did offer us tea/coffee and a patry foc.(a very nice fellow) I think we should have been asked if we wanted to book breakfast at check in. We had dinner on one eve. I ordered fish which was nice but not enough of it. Dessert was small and overpriced for what we got. A brief list of things to do/ see in Swindon would be nice.

The hotel is very clean, smells gorgeous and the rooms are very comfortable, I don't usually use the bathroom products, I have to say the shampoo and conditioner and bodywork are gorgeous and of a good quality. The fitness Centre and pool facilities are very good Breakfast was excellent, Highly recommend the overnight soaked coconut oats, simply delicious
I didn't like the mattress on my bed but that's done to personal preference , Otherwise no complaints

The hotel is modern, clean and all staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of hot and cold foods and you can have any eggs made to order. Our kids loved the choices of food and juices. It’s set out lovely so doesn’t feel like a busy buffet and they replenish all morning until around 10.45am as it ends at 11am - perfect time for us to have a swim before breakfast. The room was clean and plenty of space for our things.
The only tiny criticism was the double beds felt small and king beds would be better when a family of 4 is sleeping in the same room.

The spacious room was exactly what we needed for our toddler, and the breakfast was excellent. We liked the attention to detail from the front desk team when my son got the complimentary drawing kit. The swimming pool kept all the family active, steam room and sauna were busy during the weekend. Friendliness of staff and greetings everywhere made us feel like home. Restaurant and Bar team, great service. The breakfast set up, layout and variety of cold and warm station was a delight. A lot of staff attending and refilling the stations. Compliments to kitchen team. Parking was convenient and safe for a small daily fee. The great location of the hotel in Swindon made our trips to Cotswold and nature parks more pleasant and reduced driving time to half an hour.
The hotel needs a renovation, the AC is too loud, and the carpets could be replaced. A shame Monday morning on Bank Holiday the swimming pool could not be used, we had 4 hours until check out and we could use though only sauna and steam room. Maintenance was the reason given.
