Could park outside of accommodation- comf bed -good selection of tea etc available - breakfast choice ok and was area for eating pleasant -nice you don't have to go to the room via reception and feel observed

Although the room felt airy with massive window unit and door -it felt a bit like being in a goldfish bowl -the bathroom was dated in colour and tiling (also laminate flooring) -wasn't sure if it needed a refurb or was still in process as the plaster and paint looked like it had been popped on in a hurry and incomplete -the breakfast was good -choice of drinks better than a lot of places however didn't know if gluten free or dairy free would be available as not on cereal/toast area

There was one member of staff who went so far above & beyond her name ways Kye the hotel was very short staffed due to unforeseen circumstances this lady was checking in guests serving the bar & dealing with guests on the phone this lady is a superwoman the management are extremely lucky to have such a dedicated hard working member of staff all the guests that stayed there this weekend were more than impressed with Kye her attitude attention to detail the high level of service provided made this stay a great the rooms were very cosy lovely bar area dual fireplaces were amazing the property is in a beautiful location

The pillows seriously need changing they are flat as pancakes the mattresses also could do with updating there were total of four of us with the same exact experience which is unfortunate this place really has good potential the website looks good the property doesn’t serve food at all which is a shame as the location is quite isolated all the lovely tables and dining areas our room had quite bad shower pressure the taps seemed to have very high pressure strange it was enough to have a shower other than this it’s a great location hopefully the management make some changes here to get the lovely pub they have downstairs to get this place busy again

Lovely find for our stay during RIAT. From arrival was welcomed with a smile and staff always willing to help. Nothing too much trouble. Clean facilities and lovely room in the annex building. Table and chairs to seat outside, the weather was hot so it was boiling in the rooms but thankfully I brought my fan so it did help. The breakfast was great the usual stuff. Again staff always nice and with a smile. Plenty of parking and easy to find the hotel. Had the pleasure to meet the new proprietor and he was really great guy. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.

Honestly everything was nice. If I had to pick on one thing is I didn’t like the fact that after servicing my room my room door was always left unlocked and I had high value items in the room. The area looks safe but I just didn’t like that.

The staff overall were lovely and so friendly. :) The young guy at breakfast was so accommodating and very polite, offered an alternative tea as the rest ran out! Breakfast was great and very hot and you could tell it was local fresh produce. Bed was so comfortable and loved our room. Location was perfect, central to everything. Would definitely stay again!

A few minor things but no big deal - A bit run down and needs a bit of TLC. Kettle in our room was filthy when we checked in and was not changed after we mentioned it but we saw the cleaner and she changed it immediately for us but no big deal. Check in could be more informative and warm on arrival. Our room was not made up whilst we were there, would have been nice to have it fresh when we came back after a long day.

The room was ideal it was clean had everything you could want/need, bar was clean, the staff friendly and welcoming, James had only been there a couple of months but was professional in his approach and very accommodating for our needs. Breakfast was lovely lots of choices, hopefully we will return the end of the year and be able to have our evening meal in house.

We liked everything, just felt that the coffee,milk in the room could have been better stocked perhaps with a small fridge and toiletries in the bathroom would have been a nice touch.

The room was nice and cosy and the food was excellent

The sign is a bit misleading as it did not say Vines Hotel which is on the booking so we ended up driving straight past it. It seems like a nice pub but it was dead, there were only four other people there when we arrived and very little atmosphere. It was also in the middle of nowhere so there was nowhere else to go unless you drove. We stoped there as a birthday treat for my husband after visiting the area and the end of the evening was a bit of a let down as the pub was so quiet.

A friendly couple who were trying to refurbish their rooms after water damage. The bed was very comfortable. I slept like a log.

This isn’t a dislike list, more a snag list for the owners to attend to before more guests arrive. 1. No remote for TV 2. No plug in the wash basin 3. The net curtains don't draw all across the windows 4. Lovely shower, however there's nothing to stop water settling on the bathroom floor next to the toilet. 5. The young man doing breakfast just needs to judge where his customers are on their breakfast. I had just poured my cornflakes and my probably pre-plated English Breakfast arrived far too soon.

Greeted on arrival by a lovely lady in the Pub. The room was clean and had everything you needed. It was just dated. In need of a new carpet and decoration but totally liveable. The pub wasnt doing Dinner but that was not a problem for us. Breakfast was good.

If I had to find a fault, and its a small one, there was no shower hose which I like to use and nowhere to put your bits when in the shower. It just needs a simple shelf. I am unable to bend over at the moment and found it really difficult.

The Vines is a lovely property well furnished in the bar/restaurant area, the ground are beautiful with apple, pear, fig trees and grapevines. The resident cats are very friendly too. The staff were extremely helpful and polite, the cooked breakfast was perfect and very hot, a great selection of cereals and jams/honey, and juice. The area where the hotel is located is beautiful and perfect for visiting and exploring the Cotswolds.

Everything was lovely, the staff were so attentive and would have dealt with any issues you may have had.

I was allocated room 3 which is in the main building facing the front. It was a large double and was very comfortable. The bedding was clean and crisp; the bed was great especially as I have back problems; the shower room was good - the shower hot; towels big and fluffy; toiletries lovely. there were adequate options for tea/coffee although I found the cups a little on the small side - 1 teabag served 3 cups! Hairdrier good and iron & board in the room. All in all I had a comfortable stay. My brother and son were in 2 rooms in the annexe and had the same levels of comfort I had. Both very happy with the facilities provided. We all had a full english for breakfast - our order taken and served at the table. so much better than a buffet. It was well cooked and served hot - local produce by the taste so all good. Plenty of options for continental as well - compliments to the chef! Would definately stay again when visiting the area.

The car patk could do with some lighting - it was very wet when we visitied and it was difficult to avoid puddles in the dark. Also, my brother's wing mirror was scraped which better lighting may have prevented. However, I realise this needs to be balanced against the need for guests to enjoy dark nights for sleeping. I couldn't get the tv in my room to work and it was too late to ask for assistance. I did mention it to the landlord on check out .
