Set in a quiet village, this country pub has lovely rooms & bathroom - perfect for a short stay! We thought the room was quite nice, lovely bed & pillows and great shower pressure & temperature. Bonus point for lovely shampoo/detergent products in the room. While the breakfast choice was not extensive, the vibe in the morning in the pub was really nice - cozy with some candles on.

The staff was kind but seemed a bit distant / clueless, often hard to find staff for a few request (like Wifi password not available/written anywhere within the room) - not really knew answer to a few questions. It just gave me a bit the vibe the main business / focus is the pub and the rooms kind of an extra. Overall nice stay for a short one! Beware no parking on site - had to park down the road which was fine but might not be so great in winter/bad weather.

Lovely little pub in a quiet village. Small bar but it seemed to accommodate a few people. As expected the food was excellent - although the 'free' breakfast was a little disappointing as some items had been devoured already by the time we got there on both mornings (and no it wasn't last call). The cooked menu for breakfast (not free) was first class as was dinner on the 2 nights we stayed. Very friendly staff, hospitable locals and visitors. Overall pretty good.

The free breakfast was a little 'meh'. The rooms were very neat and tidy but pretty small and pretty tight especially if you have suitcases, as we did. Bathroom was the size of a closet - however it was not a break it thing. I'd go back.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the pub in the evening and the food was very nice and service was great!

For the breakfast in the morning a lot of the continental options that were included with the room had run out therefore we decided to buy breakfast. Unfortunately my eggs in egg cups and toast were harder boiled than i would have liked so had no runny yolks. My partner ordered extra hashbrowns however unfortunately these were still frozen in the middle so he had to leave them. However the service was great and they removed the hashbrowns from our bill

Charming pub in a beautiful little village. The pub itself had a great selection of beers and wine, with exceptional food at such an affordable price. Cannot fault the warm, friendly, knowledgable staff who welcomed us, served us at dinner and made sure we had everything we needed.

A B&B for travellers but also very popular with locals - we hadn’t quite considered how loud the pub would be in the evening (sure we would have joined in if it hadn’t been for a long day of driving!) Silly of us not to consider noise but a heads up from the pub in future/some earplugs in the room would be a nice additional touch. In the morning the water pressure dropped so low that the shower totally stopped while I was in it, not ideal!

I decided to visit the Cotswolds in November 2024 as a present for my job promotion together with my mum. We stayed at The Bell Inn for four nights and we always had dinner at their pub/restaurant (the same where we had breakfast every morning). The atmoshere was very welcoming and warm and the food was amazing. The room was quite big, very confortable and clean in a complete Old English Style! The staff was always kind and helpful. We really appreciated the position, close to all the interesting locations of the Cotswolds. I really recommend this location! I’d be very happy to come back to The Bell Inn one day!

The quality of their food is exceptional. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Freya, in particular during dinner and breakfast but also the fellow behind the bar (didn't catch his name) who went out of his way to get us into our room as soon as possible so we could chill out. The pub itself is lovely and our room was very comfortable.

The car parking situation is difficult. A small and very popular village pub with only a few allocated spaces on gravel outside their building is always going to be an issue. We parked along the road which is dark and not busy but were able to move our car once a space outside the pub became available later on. The room walls seemed thin as we could hear our neighbours and the kitchen closing down but to be honest we were so exhausted it didn't matter.

The place was clean and easy to find. It was very homie. The breakfast was good. It had all the basics like granola, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc.

The breakfast didn’t include hot food. £13.50 for an English breakfast. If you’re going to dine in on the property 12.5% service charge on everything which isn’t stated at the beginning/menu. The room had cotton robes which were overused and warn which made them unpleasant to wear. Our bathroom had a radiator to hand up our wet towels which was scolding hot. As adults it wasn’t a big deal but you needed to be careful as it would burn you coming out of the shower. Not suitable for kids.

I dont really want to tell you because i want to be able to get a room when i need one but crikey, this place is absolutely divine. The atmosphere is incredible. Why do so many places get it wrong when this place seems to get it right so effortlessly. Stone floors, open fires so you can smell the wood burning, candles, low lighting, beautiful food, fantastic service. If you want a cooked breakfast you have to pay extra, which i did and it was worth every penny.

Great location in a quiet village and handy for exploring the Cotswolds. The room was cosy with a comfortable bed and nice fluffy towels in the bathroom. A good continental breakfast was included in the price and cooked options were available to order at an extra charge. We didn’t have time for dinner or lunch at the pub but the menu looked very good and we look forward to having a meal there next time we are in the area.

There was a lack of storage facilities and a small chest of drawers or mini wardrobe with hanging facilities would be useful.

Amazing stay! The room was high quality & warm. The bed very comfortable. Tea and coffee availble in the room, aswell as bathrobes and such. Highly recomment for a nice, cosy fall getaway! Parking is on-site

Our room was above the restaurant. It closed early, around 22u so we did not have any noise from it while going to bed luckily! But if you're an early sleeper or the restaurant would be open later, be aware or check before making a reservation ;-)
