Stayed at this property previously and as expected visit met expectations. Room was both clean and comfortable with all standard facilities supplied. Food was excellent i.e both dinner and breakfast. Staff also very friendly and welcoming.

The only negative comment was that a green LED emergency exit light was placed within the room above the door, which initially was an issue when attempting to sleep. Don't think I experienced such lighting during past visits, as normally this form of lighting within accommodation is located within the hallway and not within the room itself.

Excellent accommodation, spacious twin bed room with coffee / tea making facilities and excellent en-suite bath / shower room. Beds very comfortable. The food is a highlight, excellent home cooked dishes, good choice and delicious. Our breakfast was really good on both mornings. Lovely cosy pub atmosphere with log burning stove. Staff very friendly, and efficient and knowledgeable about the local area. Very good value for money, will definitely be visiting again - Burford town is lovely, great shops & cafes and so beautiful.

Staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Dinner was very tasty and well cooked and presented well. Breakfast was superb and included in the B&B price which was very reasonable at £130 a night through Booking.com Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Great surroundings and has a very nice garden area out the back. Very nice shops locally to browse and All in all, a great stay for our 19th Wedding Anniversary. Beautiful location. Perfect Cotswolds pub. Room and facilities are wonderful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and good value. Breakfast included was very generous and the perfect start to the day. Whilst not obligated to eat dinner there, they graciously hold a table for each night, and the meals were exceptional. Really enjoyable stay

Only draw back for some may be steep stairs and sometimes difficult for parking but the wonderful staff carried our suitcases up and down the stairs for us

The staff were exceptional, so welcoming, friendly and took complete care of us. The food was delicious, particularly breakfast which was a real treat to order from a menu. The hotel and room decor had character, and the garden beautiful. The location is great also, with character, quaint shops, nice walks. We will definitely return and would highly recommend. Thank you to staff for making our stay perfect.

Only our preference, however the bed and pillows were not to our liking. Though clean, good quality etc..

Lovely cute hotel in prime location for visiting Burford town centre. Staff were really friendly & accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Our room (1) was spacious & had everything needed for a night or two away. The garden out back was lovely, plenty of seating to enjoy the sunshine. We’d definitely visit again.

Kettle in our room wasn’t so great, you had to hold the button down for it to boil - but a minor issue. Staff were advised when we checked out.

Good location side street able to park in street easily breakfast was very good , gluten free available as my husband is coeliac, very aware of allergy, scrambled egg and salmon was very nice

Only little issue no kettle in room only coffee machine ,I had seen a review about there being no kettle so , I took my travel kettle with me ,good range of teas milk and biscuits in room but otherwise very quaint hotel cosy and homely

Friendly staff, great atmosphere in pub , pub food was amazing had dinner and breakfast each day room clean and comfortable.

Room noise level, you can hear the pub noise underneath your room ans also the staff in the morning weren't that quiet put music on in the pub early inthe morning. The windows in the rooms do need a secondary glaze so you don't hear road and delivery's arriving at the pub early in the morning.

Lovely Sunday dinner and a great breakfast.....Nice beer too! The room was large and comfortable. The whole trip was topped off with a snowy winter wonderland. Bibury is just 15 mins away too!

Parking in Burford is a bit difficult. However, at the end of the day, the place quietens down and street parking becomes available. The public free car park is only 12 hours in 24 so you cant leave your car there all the time.
