Justin and his staff were second to none, nothing was too much trouble, everyone one was warm and welcoming. Service was great, from the lovely clean rooms to the attention at breakfast, despite the cafe being so busy. Everyone worked so hard and were really on top of their game. I asked Justin if it would be ok to have a parcel delivered , as I didn’t think it would arrive before we left. It was a hat for the weeding and sure enough when I got to my room there it was bedside my bed waiting for me. The breakfast was exceptional using good quality ingredients, with lovely coffee. Sadly I never got to try the cakes, which looked delicious. Next time, I won’t make that mistake.

That we hadn’t booked for longer, the surrounding area was lovely, we went for a wedding, but could have stayed so much longer, had we realised there was so much to explore. Everything else was perfect.

The location is amazing, right in the main shopping street with a good choice of places to eat and drink. However the rooms are tucked away at the back of the tearooms, a hidden treasure off the busy main street, so that they feel like entering a calm retreat. The checking-in process was smooth and well organised. The room was clean, and tastefully decorated, with good shower facilities. We loved the private outside courtyard at the back, with comfortable chairs, tables and sun umbrellas, and attractive planting, brilliant as a quiet morning space. Our host was friendly and always ready to help.

The fire exit light is bright at night, although our host did his best to remedy this for me.

Pleasant if small room at good price for the area, comfy bed, smart TV so we could watch Gardener's World from start via iPlayer (!), good shower room, excellent location in centre of Burford, clear instructions on gaining access, good "full English" breakfast available in the tea rooms in at very reasonable cost

Apart from a stool, only seating was on the bed (there really wasn't room for chairs). Duvet was double covered and hadn't been inserted properly so it took a while to get it flat! No decaf anything on the tea/coffee tray.

I was welcomed by some lovely staff in the Tea Room who showed me through to the private garden. The room was perfect, very clean, great shower in the wet room and a very comfortable bed. I will definitely stay here again, it’s about a 5 minute walk from the free public car park with walking along the flat, which in Burford is a bonus. The garden area was beautiful with lovely flowers and a real sun trap. The food in The Priory Tea Room is also lovely, highly recommend the ice cream. Great stay, thank you.

Nothing, great value for money!

The tea rooms were perfectly located on the high street of Burford. We were lucky enough to park opposite, for free all day and night. The room was small but had everything we needed for our 1 night stay. The food in the tea rooms was discounted by 20% as we were residents. We had an exceptional ice-cream in the afternoon and a large tasty breakfast the morning after.

The rooms face directly on to the patio. I needed to get ready for a wedding and there was a party of tourists having afternoon tea right outside. There was a heavy curtain we could draw but obviously there was no natural light. Perhaps a net curtain could be installed for a little more privacy. This did not however, spoil our stay. We would certainly stay again .

Peaceful stay in a fabulous location. Room clean good size for two of us although compact but absolutely fine for our stay with everything we needed. Lovely shared patio also where you could sit and. Breakfast in the Priory very good. All very easy and would definitely recommend.

Nothing really other than a little compact but that’s was not a problem. Fab stay!

The room had all the amenities for a couple of overnight stays and was equipped to a very good standard

It would have been nice to have a rug on part of the floor though I understand it’s easier to clean a hard floor; a light in the wardrobe would be useful; the underside of the washbasin needs a clean (hard to see unless you’re sitting on the loo!)

It was great value for the money! Had everything you need tea/coffee, toiletries, TV, hairdryer, ironing board and iron.

The room was small.. the entrance to the shower was small, and I had to enter the shower sidewards to get in. The wardrobe was tiny, again to get in (is kinda a walk in wardrobe) was very neat! Could do with more towels.

We arrived shortly before 5 pm and the lady gave us a great welcome, nice room, terrace outside, hot shower without escaping streams, in the middle of the village, next to the wonderful church. The place was quiet at night and close enough to Bibury for a leisurely stroll away from the crowds

High st was very busy at 5 pm. Luckily most visitors were away by 6 pm. Even in the garden there was no little corner for smoking a cigarette

Room was very small, breakfast not available until 9.00.Burford has a bad traffic problem, so parking at the hotel can be difficult during the day as you have to use time limited on street parking. Ok after 5.00 pm.
