The room was very nice, traditional but very well kept and clean. We didn't stay to eat at the pub in the evening, however we had breakfast which was fantastic. Special mention for Robin who went over and above his duty for us to make our anniversary special, it was a very kind gesture and much appreciated.

What a beautiful little village pub. Wish this was our local ! Very quiet location. Staff very friendly and breakfast was well stocked and good quality !

Dinner was outstanding. Breakfast staff were somewhat disorganised but still delightful and the breakfast itself was lovely. Location is first rate - the village is gorgeous and well worth visiting. Best of all it’s near everything but not on any of the main roads so there are no traffic issues and it is quiet in the evenings. The Lamb is well supported by locals and is both a great pub and restaurant. The manager is exceptional.

Door frames are low - be careful. My husband banged his head several times!

Absolutely beautiful and immaculately refurbished historic Inn located in a picture-perfect, magical village of Great Rissington. The staff were amazingly helpful, so friendly – nothing is too much. The bar area is wonderfully relaxed with real fire log burner, and the Lamb bar menu is delicious – serving restaurant-quality food even in the bar – we had our little dog and so we didn't feel we missed out at all. Our room was beautiful and peaceful for our 3 night stay. The perfect location – with stunning historic towns only a short drive and the amazing Cotswold Wildlife Park within 15 mins. We think The Lamb Inn is a beautiful historic gem in the Cotswolds.

A delightful pub with rooms. We were looking for an overnight stay with our dog and the garden room, Witney, was perfect. Larger than expected in a pleasant location behind the pretty beer garden. We had a warm welcome and enjoyed a drink in the pub, we’d booked dinner in Bourton but had we known about the chefs we would have dined at The Lamb……next time. Breakfast was very nice.

Lots of old world charm in a very comfortable room. Great location in a quiet village setting which was a nice change from other busy areas in the Cotswolds. Ample breakfast with a good range of choices and dinner was good quality pub food. Staff were great. Very friendly. All round it was a great place to stay.

Really loved this place, the staff that greeted us were very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely, bed very comfortable, perfect location for the Cotswolds. We will definitely be back I tried the breakfast which was probably the best breakfast I’ve had and the morning staff were perfect.

The inn is set in a beautiful historical building, full of charm and character. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The room was very nice and comfortable. The food was also very good. The location is excellent — very close to Bourton-on-the-Water, yet pleasantly quiet and peaceful.

Some uneven flooring in the bathroom and low ceilings but all adds to the charm and is what you expect from an old English pub!
