The food is superb. We tried all the variations of Indian food options at breakfast. All great but our favourite was the DOSA. We loved the evening food options in the restaurant. In the end we ate there three of our four nights. Only a late stay in Oxford made us eat elsewhere. The staff and service were excellent. The room was spotless, with a good shower.

Small points. We found the shower room door a little difficult, because of the very strong auto closure on the door.

The main thing that we've come away with from this visit is the level of service. Couldn't fault it at all. We had a couple of issues with the room and the staff tried their very best to correct them and were deeply apologetic for the inconvenience. They weren't that much of an issue to be fair, but clearly the staff were trying to sort it out as quickly as possible. The other notable thing was their sense of humour, really made you relax. Food wise, excellent. In my opinion, you could read the menu in two styles, Indian obviously, but a more Asian style influence as well, so you could almost do a night of each if you desired. Breakfasts were just about right for us, slightly Indian spiced omelette was the perfect size. There were also less spicy options, the waffles were amazing but a very generous portion. The restaurant was also modern and a nice place to be with a lovely atmosphere. The room was clean and modern and comfortable. A.C. was nice and quiet so no problem running through the night. A comfortable mattress that was definitely better than our own. Plenty of parking, so no issues finding a place at all.

Obviously I mentioned a couple of electrical issues which we worked around with minimal inconvenience. To be fair, nothing to do with the staff.

Decorated in lavish style befitting a far eastern restaurant and vibe. The rooms are all first floor and at the back so away from the road. Triple glazed the room was silent. Top of the range luxury beds with mattress toppers and brilliant crisp linen. Power shower. Individual, high quality air-conditioning and heating units meant we had a cool nights sleep in the middle of a July 30 degree heatwave. Staff friendly, attentive and understood the best concepts of customer care and service. Bar was more geared up as a restaurant pre-drink, rather than a "pub" style beer with friends. Indian and Thai bottled beer in fitting with the house style but made for a more expensive "couple of beers" to wind down after a day's motorcycle riding. This hotel was of such high quality that it would have been 2-3 times the price if it was in Oxford. However we paid typical road side chain hotel prices and got the Ritz! Really good value for such high quality. Loved it. Will become our default Oxfordshire stop-off for future motorcycle adventures.

A beer on draft would have been wonderful - it was all bottled

We arrived at check in to be greeted by a lovely smiling face and a warm welcome. We were shown to our room which was immaculate and very clean and given all the details on air conditioning, TV, WiFi. We ate in the hotel that night and it was beautiful, again attentive staff all smiling who could not do enough for you. The restaurant and bar area was beautifully decorated and so clean and tidy. Had a lovely breakfast the next morning, again very tasty and impeccable service. This boutique hotel is a little gem full of happy staff, will be staying again and again.

This has by far been the best stay. Syed made me feel welcome and looked after; he was even kind enough to greet me by my name each time our paths crossed and the room had been prepared with some chilled lo-fi music on the TV upon my arrival. As a solo traveller on a last minute getaway, this was exactly what I needed. All the staff was kind, impressively professional, and attentive. The restaurant is incredibly beautiful and the pan Asian food was delicious. The hotel is modern and tastefully decorated and the location is ideal. Overall, it has felt like a luxurious retreat and I would highly recommend staying here. I personally cannot wait to return. Thank you to the Snooty Mehmaan for a restorative stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. We were impressed with with the cleanliness of the hotel.

It's not so much as we didn't like, but our only negatives would be that the rooms were smaller than expected. Although the first hot drink at breakfast was included, subsequent drinks were charged. Extra little touch like refills at breakfast should be included. Disappointingly, any little extras at breakfast were not entertained even though the hotel was not fully booked. You had to stay with what's offered on the menu.

The location was just outside the main town of Faringdon so travelling by car provided independence. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming, making the experience personalised. The food in the evening was very nice as was the breakfast. Both of which leveraged the culture and theme of the hotel. Bedrooms, facilities, and parking all made our stay frictionless and enjoyable. As a base, it is ideal to tour the Cotswolds.

Minor comment for potential improvement would be to provide soft pillows as an option.

Location, staff were very friendly, evening meal was excellent

Breakfast was disappointing no cereal or fresh fruit would have been nice to have been asked if you wanted extra toast they asked if you wanted extra drinks. My husband doesn't eat eggs but they didn't say would you like extra bacon or anything. We wanted early breakfast on the Saturday but they said no because there was nobody to do it we thought they could have given us a pack up like the last hotel we stopped at did.

Very nicely decorated with everything in the room that I could have wanted. Exceptional service all round, particularly Ali, who was so friendly and professional - explained everything. Added bonus of a fusion Indian and South East Asian fusion restaurant …very delicious and unusual selection of dishes. Best Peshwari Naan I’ve tasted in years! Breakfast also a choice of English or Asian. I had a Dosa…a fabulous treat. Would highly recommend.

Nothing to be honest.
