The pub was lovely and the staff very pleasant. The rooms were outstanding!!…Super impressed.

We had dinner there. The menu looked fabulous however there were a number of issues. There was new staff member who got the order a bit wrong - that was fine and we totally understood. However, we ordered entrees and mains for the 3 of us and EVERYTHING came out at the same time. I would have thought that even the kitchen staff would have questioned that. All of that aside, when we did have our meal it was a big disappointment..not good at all. The sad part is that the food was no reflection on the pub and the front of house staff. Sorry, but they need to get a better chef/cook. 😔

The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. The bathroom particularly warm, and the shower powerful. Once you have worked out how to use it. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bus stop opposite which goes into Oxford every 20 minutes, taking 27 minutes. Perfect!

The lack of availability of a breakfast is a great shame. it is situated on a very busy road which I guess could be noisy if you were at the front of the building. Almost impossible to get out onto the road during the rush hour with fast constant traffic. There is a rear/side exit which we weren't aware of having arrived in the dark. I would strongly recommend exiting in that direction and following the housing estate roads to a roundabout on the main road.

The hotel is lovely, the room was very comfortable and well appointed. The cooked breakfast on day 2 was nice.

Someone to greet us at the time agreed would have all the difference - all but one door was locked and there was no-one around to gain access, no one answering the phone, email or messenger. Luckily another guest was able to give us an emergency contact number for the caretaker who, when he arrived, was lovely and very apologetic. However, being Christmas Eve it was not a great situation to be in. The promised Breakfast Hamper on Christmas Day did not materialise so all in all a bit disappointed.

The room was very well appointed with a very comfortable bed, double aspect windows that provided plenty of fresh air. The room also had a large TV, a fan, hair dryer, nespresso coffee maker and tea making facilities with breakfast bars and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was very clean. The bathroom was very nice and shower was excellent. It has lovely beer gardens and is ideally located close to most Cotswolds areas, Oxford and Bicester.

They could have served breakfast.

Absolutely fabulous room. Very clean and comfortable. Good facilities... coffee machine etc.

Unfortunately, the promised, but not expected, breakfast hamper was not delivered in the early hours of Christmas morning. Not needed but it had been mentioned! The most disappointing thing happened on Boxing Day morning. My daughter and partner had not been expecting to get a cooked breakfast but when they saw two people eating they thought they would order too. This they did but they gave up waiting after much too long. As it is Christmas time, probably best not to offer what cannot be delivered.

Lovely old pub, plenty of parking. Spotless, comfortable bed and pillows. Good food for lunches and dinner. A big shout out for the lovely Lucy she looked after us and made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much Lucy.

Only in heatwave conditions the room was very hot could only open one window a few inches but they did have a small fan we could use. Also problems with the cold water in the shower running hot but that was going to be looked at after we left.

The location next to the A40, on the edge of Eynsham and within easy reach of Witney and Oxford. The staff were very helpful. The room clean and modern. As there wasn't a breakfast option staff recommended Kingsley's Cafe which is 5 minutes from the Hotel and we also recommend. We would definitely stay again at the Evenload.

The unavailability of breakfast. Coffee maker and plenty of tea etc available in the room and a cereal bar, which was a nice touch. But see 'Likes'.

The location for our stay was perfect, close by to the wedding reception we attended. Lovely gardens around the building. Easy check in Small but smart room. Clean bedding and towels. Had both a Coffee maker and kettle.

No person on site overnight, we didn't realise this until we had seen the 24-hour emergency number, which we had to use on our second night due to being locked out of the building. The key and lock system definitely needs reviewing to avoid this happening again. 1 window didn't stay open in the room. One wasn't very secure at staying open, so the room was stuffy, but we did have a small fan to use. No breakfast is available at all onsite but plenty of close by places to go to.

Friendly staff, nice surroundings, wholesome food. Pub and restaurant were well presented bright and clean. Great venue to meet our friends. Comfortable room with good tea and coffee facilities. Nice bathroom. Good location for us so we will stay here again in the future.

Warm night so needed to open the windows, but quite a bit of traffic noise from neighbouring dual carraigeway. Didn't keep us awake for long. Nothing the owners could do save installing AC and double glazing. We knew the location before booking so not an issue.

Although near a main road it was relatively quiet. Room was clean & decor nice. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good. Hotel in a good location for visiting area.

The bed mattress dipped & was quite soft. Shame breakfast was not offered & for some reason we just had one rice krispie bar in our room . We did not agree with a service charge being added to our dining bill , especially as just 2 of us also.
