Lovely old pub, beautiful decor. Delicious food and excellent veggie options. Excellent location on the High Street.20 minute walk to Sainsbury's, where you can park for under £10, for 24 hrs, via Just Park. Nice town centre with loads of excellent charity shops!

Got upgraded to a superior room but TV remote not working and bedside lamp broken. Not the end of the world but lack of attention to detail is a shame. If you're a light sleeper avoid Room 10... external fan/air con system whirring away through the night.

Really great location, staff were really lovely especially the manager he was really nice. Restaurant was excellent. Check in process was smooth. Nice bathroom and clean rooms.

The room we booked for 3 people was extremely small and almost impossible to walk around the beds, I found this disappointing. The air con unit in our room didn’t work properly, room was sweltering so had to open window onto the street which was noisy, and then the unit has a flashing orange light all night that lit up the entire room! Eek.

Parking, I found free parking on a road just past the church, it was safe for two nights. Disappointingly, we woke up on morning 2 and there was a DEU registered Tesla parked within the courtyard of the hotel. Presuming it was a customer the ‘no parking available’ should stand for all customers. Apart from that it was a great stay & we’d visit again.

It's a great pub and hotel. Steve the duty manager was very helpful and swopped our room due to accessibility issue with room 5 and was given room 1 which was the family room which was larger and extremely quiet considering that it was at the front of the building which had a bus stop outside. Both dinner and breakfast was ok.

We had a couple of issues with the room. 1. Struggling with door lock for room 1, sometimes door didn't unlock. Also there is a large gap under the door letting in light from the hallway. 2. No instructions with the TV so had to get Steve to show us how the remote worked as it's more like a fire stick remote than a normal TV one. 3. The bathroom needed a bit of TLC a) crack and chips in wash basin b) paintwork worn c) skirting board between door and bath falling off 4. Clear description on where to park. There's a all day section of the council carpark which is behind the shopping area but you have to go to Zone G which is about a 10 min walk to the hotel. These are only small negative that can be addressed.

Great location in central Witney, yet the room was tucked behind the main building in a quiet lane. Staff were attentive and pleasant. Excellent choice of freshly prepared hot food for breakfast. Good sized room with a comfortable bed.

Some noise late at night from what sounded like barrels or tables being moved. Bedroom lamp-shades hadn't been dusted in weeks. Shower difficult to use because it was a fixed unit above the bath.

Stayed on a Saturday night and there were people outside making noise until very late, which disturbed our sleep. We should have contacted reception at the time and given them the opportunity to sort it. Lesson learned should the situation arise again.

Loved our stay, and perfect for what we needed. Accommodation for a local wedding at local Caswell House so an ideal location in a beautiful town with lots on its door. Staff were so lovely and our breakfast was stunning!! Would definitely come back.

Thought some of the decor wasa tiny bit drab but for the price very comfortable and more than you'd expect.

The breakfast menu was out of this world, so many options I almost wished that my partner and I were staying for longer so we could sample every dish on the breakfast menu. The room itself was comfy and large enough for the two of us however Staff were amazingly helpful and polite, even received an apology from one of them the day after we had enquired about tea/coffee top-up, apologising because they had finished their shift when they realised they'd not given us the tea and coffee for the room. Staff were very well-presented, gave good advice re the menu options for evening meals and were chatty and approachable.

The bedside lamps did not work and the bathroom, though very clean, could have done with stronger water supply. I.e. the flush was quite weak, as was the water pressure from the basin taps and shower but was other wise great.

Bagged a great deal at late notice for a friend's leaving do. Staff were really friendly at check-in and generally during the whole of our stay. We had a room in the annex which was huge! Lovely large bathroom! Air conditioning which was a blessing in 30c weather. Food was incredible, portions weren't huge but just right for me, a little small for my husband. Really positive stay.

Very little. Only one issue with the toiletries provided, the pumps had stopped working on the bottles so it meant you had to unscrew lids. Very minor point! Although there is a blackout blind, the light still creeps in. Some curtains would help with ensuring the room stays dark in the morning.

Quint old building. Friendly helpful staff that was always eager to please. It had a great atmosphere and obviously had a good reputation for good food as it the restaurant was book. However u eas on my Owen and the staff quickly found me a space.

No parking - but there was parking at a shopping centre across the street. This dies have free parking but it is very hard to find a space.
