From start to end of our visit the team were excellent. Great welcome from manager who enabled us to book in early. Local information given without prompting which was very much appreciated and needed. Bedroom clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable Lunch was served quickly and the fish finger sandwich with chips was hot and delicious A wonderful one night stay - thank you

Wonky toilet seat but this didn’t take away from the experience. Hotel being refurbished so no breakfast available but plenty of options in town

It’s in a prime location and close to where you want to go. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfy.. not my type of pillows but they were ok. The man who greeted us was very polite and even let me park my car on site if there was room which there was. He did offer to take us too the farmers dog as taxis are very expensive and 20 mins away but I chose to drive..are planning to go back too Burford in a week and would definitely stay there again

Hospitality, the decor of the room, the tub in the room is a cool feature. The bed was comfy, the team were great, hope to be back soon, hopefully with breakfast 😊

It's a proper pub hotel, if your room is on the ground floor, you'll hear people walking above you. Clearly the rooms/or at least ours are not fully ready just yet, it was missing a curtain, the bathroom floor was full of dust from painting, and the shower cubicle seal need replacing.

Very friendly staff, accommodation was clean and cosy, tea and coffee and water was in the room on arrival. Room was lovely and quiet even tho being in the middle of the town. Great access to shops and pubs.

Just a little bit of diy is needed the plug was hanging off the wall so I felt un easy plugging appliances in. And a couple of things fell off but it didn’t really bother us too much as we were really happy with the stay.

Really nice pub/hotel in a really good location. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the pub was very nice.

Only criticism of the place. We were there at a time where the weather was really warm and there is nothing in the room to cool down such as air con or a fan. So the rooms did get really warm. The rooms could do with air con or a fan of some sorts.

I loved my stay at the Golden Pheasant in Burford. The pub is a great space, with a small beer garden, that is a real sun trap. My room was really great, the bed very comfortable and the room was spotless. I had a warm welcome and did have my supper there. The only thing that was strange was the starter and the main being served at the same time and although I asked for a table to be reserved it wasn’t. Minor complaint really.

Lovely location in the heart of Burford, The Room was to a good standard and the Staff were very Welcoming and Polite. The food was great!!

The room was a little warm at night, even with the window open. The room had a little clean on the 1st morning, but they didn't top up the milk for tea. All little things and we still had a really good break away and will return.

Location was great, on the high street in Burford. No breakfast, but we knew that. Free parking at the rear. Ate in the pub itself and food was good.

As others have said, the place is a little tired but I understand a refurb is ongoing.

The room was very comfortable and warm. Staff very friendly and kind. Kettle and tea making equipment provided which for me is an essential.

Almost no parking. Had to go to the free car park about 7 minutes walk away, so if you have a suitcase be aware. The hotel is under new management and at the moment is not open all the time. No breakfast being served at the moment.

The location was perfect, and on the busy high street, and our accommodation was tucked away near the back and was very quiet. Delighted to have a car park. The staff were attentive and very helpful. Nice comfy bed

The room and bathroom and entrance area could have been cleaner, though the bed linen and towels were very clean.
