Really easy to get to and find key etc. everything was explained thoroughly and everything clean. Liked that you could order breakfast to the room! Bath was really spacious and so was the shower. Bed was large and comfortable. Had all amenities you might need like hairdryer coffee teas kettle proper coffee percolator and a fridge with milk! And a fan was very much appreciated!

The plumbing was quite noisy we had to fiddle with the cold tap on the left sink to stop it from making an awful screeching noise. The windows weren’t able to be held up so we had to improvise and it was a really hot weekend. Tv only had freeview.

Spacious room and bathroom with what must be some of the best views of the river and village green in Bourton-on-the-Water. The bed was incredibly comfortable, made even better with soft, high-quality cotton sheets. I really enjoyed both the bath and the walk-in waterfall shower. Having a delicious breakfast delivered to the room by a cheerful young man was a lovely convenience and much appreciated. As a solo traveller, The Old Bank Rooms offered everything I needed, and I’d absolutely stay here again for both the location and the comfort it provided.

Just a few things would have made the stay even better… 1. a touch up of some scuffed paintwork and siliconing around the basin 2. some locally made biscuits and extra hot drinks options to the everyday tea sachets and Illy coffee provided. I stayed during a bank holiday weekend, so finding an overnight parking space nearby wasn’t easy!

The view was amazing, and the accommodation was close to everything. We loved the fact there was a fridge in the room and fresh milk. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. Everything was very clean. The breakfast on both days was delivered to our room at the time we asked for and was hot and tasty. The instructions for room use, key pick up, and drop off were concise. The room temperature could be easily adjusted using the thermostat and warmed up quickly.

There were a few finishing touches to the room that let it down slightly, such as a light bulb out in the bathroom and the curtains not closing fully. Also, It would be nice if the breakfast could have come with a selection of condiments provided. And maybe frosted glass in the bathroom for privacy.

Fantastic location overlooking the picturesque river and an amazing selection of restaurants, cafes and places to visit. The room was well stocked with everything you needed and breakfast arrived on time every morning. I needed extra towels and my request was commutated well and quickly. The young man AngelHeart, was very polite and helpful even though it was self-serve check-in and out he was very helpful and an asset to the Old Bank Rooms as he began and ended his daily clean.

Parking issues but the instructions given were excellent and follow them and not your satnav. So not an issue at all.

Location, spread of breakfast

Hard to get taxis, the numbers provided wouldn’t call us back, and we had asked for milk tea in breakfast which we didn’t get.

The location was beautiful with an amazing view of the river, bridges and sparkling lights at night. The breakfast is ordered the night before and is delivered to your room. There were nice touches like bathrobes and hot water bottles. The bathroom was massive with a lovely big bath and shower. The location is right near restaurants and shops. We wished we had stayed for more than one night as we did not have enough time to look around the area.

It's tricky to find (it is above a fish and chip shop, with the door off to the side) and there is no parking. Parking is available in various places in the town which you need to pay for.

Although unstaffed, we had a great experience and we’d recommend Old Bank Rooms to you. We stayed in ‘Euro’ for just one night. Clean, quiet, no smell from the chip shop below. Room great. Breakfast slightly weird (you have to have it in your room) but really nice.

Corridors are totally dark until automatic lights come on. Pre-visit comms just kept coming but we’re very confusing - carelessly prepared and waaayyy tooo looong….

The location was excellent . The breakfast was excellent. The bed was excellent. The double size bath was excellent

All though bath Robes were supposed to be supplied. They weren’t if we had none that we would have taken our own. It spoiled the stay because it meant we had to get fully dressed before our breakfast was delivered. The telephone number they gave for any queries just did not work. Although the breakfast was lovely, salt and pepper was not supplied.

Very central location with lovely outlook, very spacious, really comfortable bed, delicious breakfast

We were in Euro on top floor. It was no issue for us and we had very heavy suitcases but it could be struggle for some as quite narrow staircase also, no lift. Definitely not a complaint as we had a perfect stay. There was an awful lot of information that kept coming from the property. Would be good if all the information came in one message, once as so consuming trying to find right msg with right info in the right message when travelling.

The building is beautiful. The location is perfect and right in the centre. Our room was stunning, with a view overlooking the river. We put in our food order the night before and it arrived promptly and was delicious!

When entering the building from the side, there was a distinct smell of food from the restaurant below, but that seemed to disappear as we went upstairs. The hanging sides outside of the windows were quite creaky and noisy as well.
