The breakfast was lovely, plenty to eat and choice of food. We had a meal when we arrived which was tasty and large portions and price was very good.

Should be told that there is no parking only outside of the pub, but if you arrive when it is at peak times there is very little chance of getting a parking place, had to ask if there was any and the lady just said outside or that there was a car park around the corner had to ask if we had to pay and which corner. Might be a good idea if you are having overnight customers a traffic cone would be good to leave for your guests arriving. Might sound picky but a real good dust is needed in bedrooms and maybe new carpets not nice seeing clawed carpet at doors

The pub is adorable, set in a picturesque village. Fantastic breakfast & dinner options - they even allowed us to preorder and had our food ready for arrival when they knew we were running late. Such a special touch. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and seemed to enjoy working there. The room was also lovely - clean and spacious with everything you need.

Just a small point - we struggled a bit with the shower. It didn’t drain well and at one point switched off and didn’t allow us to switch it on again for 30+ minutes. Also not particularly powerful when it did work. To be fair I did not raise this as we only stayed 2 nights.

A very nice village pub with rooms. The room floors do slope and some of the floor lights sit at interesting angles, but in our eyes this adds to the charm of this property. The food in the resturant is very good with a good choice and well cooked. Good desert menue too. breakfast is taken in the bar area, and agin a good choice was availble and cooked selection well prepared.

Some of the rooms face the main road through the village so some early traffic noise occures but not a real problem.

The Mason's Arms is a small country pub in the lovely Cotswold Village of Meysey Hampton. Located on the village green there are tables out on the green for anyone who wants to sit outside. The food there is excellent - to call it pub food is underselling it. The room, although not large, was stylish with an ensuite bathroom. Both looked as if they'd been refurbished quite recently. Although the room was above the pub it wasn't noisy and the bed was very comfortable. We had to get up and leave too early for breakfast but the landlady supplied the basics for breakfast in our room. All in all a delightful stay and highly recommended

There's no car park but plenty of parking in front of the pub or round the village green

The breakfast was particularly good- we loved the options and execution. Nice job. We also had time for some nice chat with the very kind owners. The room has lovely exposed beams as well and the downstairs pub area was homey and comfortable. This was the perfect place to save a little money outside Cirencester on the way to Oxford. Highly recommemned for a one night stay for sure.

Parking was a bit tight the night we arrived, but we figured out we could park in the back via the side entrance so that worked out.

Amazing place! So clean, they provided dog bowls, treats, towels, easy access to let your pet out late at night. The food was so good, we ordered of the set menu thinking the portions would be smaller due to the price and we left the table to sleep for 4 hours in a food coma! The room was clean and well sized with a modern country take. They had the option to buy your dog a meal from the bar so if you wanted to eat together downstairs you could. The breakfast was exceptional and again MASSIVE! 10/10

That we couldn't stay for longer

Beautiful pub with tasteful accommodation above which was spotlessly clean and with lots of lovely touches. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent as was the service. It soon became obvious why the place was busy even on a Tuesday evening. The bed and bedding was lovely and we had a great nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning was of the same quality as our evening meal.

Nothing to dislike to be honest.

The food was great. I had both dinner and breakfast. Both meals were simple tasty and freshly made. It's a very pretty authentic old building. My room was clean. There was fresh water in a bottle. The linens were quite nice. The bed was comfortable. My only issue was the size of my room and bathroom. Both were quite small. But that's a small issue. Great place with a friendly staff. I highly recommend

When arriving to The Mason Arms, we were met with very pleasant staff who showed us our room. The staff explained the purpose of all amenities and the parking facilities. Staff asked if we had a dinner reservation for that evening and we confirmed that we had. The room was small, however the modern and clean atmosphere within this country building was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant that evening, I had the prawns followed by the venison and my wife ate arancini followed by the steak. I can honestly say I have never had food like this in an establishment that also offers accommodation. The following morning we were met with a very relaxed breakfast where we had eggs beneidict and scrambled eggs. This was small, however the flavour was exceptional. Throughout our stay in the cotswold I would state that this was the best food we received. Certainly would stay here again and recommend it to fellow travellers.

We broke our journey at The Masons on our way to a touring holiday in the South West. The Masons is located in a charming quintessential English village. On our arrival, we were welcomed by a friendly member of staff and shown to our lovely comfortable room. Later on we enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant and then enjoyed a good night's sleep. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious and freshly cooked breakfast before departing on the next leg of our journey.

Just a very minor point regarding breakfast, the cooked food was excellent, however, there was no pastries at all on the buffet section.
