The Pub is great. Frequented by the locals is a sign for the pubs quality. The staff is great and goes far beyond what’s normal. Great food and beers. Dog-friendly

Very dog-friendly inn, but no real possibility to walk the dog without driving. The owner is unbelievable on the far negative side. Room #2 smelled like a public toilet and we wanted to change to another available room. We accepted to pay the additional price difference, but the owner insisted that we’d have to pay for both rooms! He stated that we lied about the smell, not willing to check for himself. The girls behind the bar surprised us when they informed us that they were able to reach the manager who then made one of the vacant rooms available for us. Thanks to them again!!!

Great staff and atmosphere. The pub was busy with locals and visitors. Locals were welcoming and friendly which isn't always the case. Food was good. A good menu with themed nights when the specials were reduced in price. Tuesday was Curry night, Wednesday was Pie night, Thursday Steak and Friday Fish & Chips. The pub is in a good location on the edge of Exmoor and close to Watchet and Minehead.

Although the breakfasts were good they were an unexpected expense at £12.50 each as it's not totally clear on booking.com that it's extra for breakfasts and you're only paying for the room.

The White Horse was a lovely Pub/Inn, very quaint and very well run. The staff were very cheerful and helpful. We had dinner there which was freshly prepared and excellent, and good value for money. We didn't stay for breakfast as we had to leave early, before breakfast was being served. We stayed in a room above the public bar, but it was quiet and although the room was quite small, it was comfortable and very clean.

We cannot think of anything that we did not like. Everything was to our liking, from the drinks in the bar, dinner in the adjoining retaurant area and the accomodation. Well done the White Horse Team.

Nice room with an en-suite bathroom and was very clean and tidy, everyone I met who worked there were really helpful and polite. Breakfast and dinner was superb and delicious, I didn't eat anywhere else while staying there because it was so good. Hot chocolate and biscuits left every day which was a favourite touch alongside the tea and coffee. Electric fan to cool down on the hot evenings, much appreciated by my dogs and I. Great pub with large carpark and a garden to eat or drink outside. A little out of Washford so away from busy traffic and lots of walks for the dogs.

Situated in a beautiful, quiet location. All the staff are cheerful and friendly, which made a lovely atmosphere for everyone. The food was absolutely delicious with generous size portions and a reasonable price. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, although it would've been more comfortable to have a king-size bed. The bathroom was spacious with a beautiful large bath and powerful hot shower. We had plenty of beverages and biscuits in our room. If we ran out of any, then there were more beverages and biscuits in the corridor to help ourselves to. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean, as was the entire pub. We will definitely be staying here again and will be recommending it all our friends.

It's in a lovely location. The food and service is very good The building is very quirky and beautiful in our large room ( 5 ) was very clean nice and quiet even being located directly above the bar, the room has views over a small river and the beer garden.

The large beer garden has a kids play area and plenty of seating for eating and drinking and also a covered seating area for eating. This is next to a large car park.
