Liz was really welcoming and friendly, phoning me a few days before arrival to check if I had any special requests which was really nice. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds and pillows very comfortable and the shower was lovely & hot. We had breakfast which was also nice with a selection of cereals, yogurt, toast & cooked breakfast if we wanted. As a coffee addict, I was very happy with mine and the fruit display was just lovely. The location was a good base for us to visit local walks and gardens, with a short distance to Watchet which is really pretty, largely due to the harbour and steam train.

There was nothing at all to dislike. More milk for my coffees perhaps but that's just me being picky!

The lovely family who, at present, run The White House were perfect hosts. Breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked which is important, and we had plenty of space in our room. The bathroom was compact and bijou but it is very difficult to refurb a historical Listed Building exactly to everyone's ideal nowadays! We had parking on site or if none available there is a large car park nearby which is right next to a large police station. We wish them well!!

As we were a family of four, the adjoining room was great. There was a good selection of items for breakfast, which again suited our family. There was plenty of hot water, as the shower never went cold.

The kids weren't happy about the TV channels [no kids channels], but that was overcome by using their tablets. However, we weren't in the room much anyhow.

Location, car parking, quiet at back where our room was located. Good breakfast choices and good quality products used.

Bathroom too cold, no heating in it. Needs an electric towel rail or similar for this time of year. Some lighting needs attention to make it work and tidy up where exposed cores showing in ceiling rose.

Did not stay for breakfast and location was easy to find, a little road noise as on main road and the pesky seagulls made a right racket in the morning ( but being close to the sea it’s only expected)

The WI FI would not connect and the front door let in a slight draft

The building has character, spacious rooms which were spotless, amazing variety for breakfast with all you could handle. location is central in Williton plenty to do short drives away. the staff were amazing and you wanted for nothing. We will be back, room 5 loved it 4 poster bed great nights sleep.

Excellent customer service. We arrived quite late with a dog and nothing was too much for Liz to accommodate. She was so helpful and attentive. The hotel is beautiful and clean and the breakfast was delicious 😋

The room was very basic but clean comfortable and WARM, a welcome on a freezing cold day. There were a couple of little things that showed the staff cared about the guests. The welcome we received was lovely.

The room was in a courtyard so no view at all. No double glazing. The bathroom was very cold despite a heated towel rail. No curtain or blind in bathroom. Every sound could be heard from next door. I was woken at 5 am by someone turning on lights and going to the bathroom.

Location is pretty central to the village of Williton and about 30 minutes from Taunton and the M5. Parking available at the front of the hotel for about a dozen cars.

Friendly reception, quiet room

Courtyard parking at the back was very tricky. After I unloaded the car there was no room to turn round because of other cars, so I had to reverse all the way out round several corners, with only inches to spare. Parked at the front of the hotel later.
