Staff were awesome, from Illana to the front desk staff. Helped me with many things during my stay. Really close to a laundry (don’t get laundry done at hotel, for the price of 1 shirt, I nearly got a whole load done). The location is great, my room overlooked the water. The neighbourhood felt very safe. A shopping centre is only 2 blocks away. Breakfast was good, especially the eggs which you need to ask for. Would stay there again if ever in Montevideo.

Beds are really hard. Had to put pillows under my back to get comfortable. But was fine when doing that. Even on 12th floor got a load of road nice, especially if motorcycles racing along the Rambla late at night.

The attitude of ALL staff when we were rescheduled, particularly Fabrizio. Firendliness and tender care from breakfast staff, even GM mas Friendly and was clearly Very hands on on supervising details. I finded this Mercure in particular well above standard in Personalized attention to guests.

The inside patio could be nice as it is the main View form breakfast/dining área. It is Just OK, could be nicer.

The Staff were absolutely Brilliant. I needed to contact a doctor during my stay and all the staff were very helpful and caring, especially Fabricio. I could not have asked for better service, even got breakfast delivered to my room with a smile.

Excellent view of Rio de la Plata. Full bidet. One block from punta carretas mall and supermarket. Rambla Ghandi has pedestrian and bike trails along the Rio.

They charge for breakfast which is unusual.

Location, staff is nice

Room a bit small. At the last day 7am morning without any notice some window cleaners appeared on our balcony…

Excellent variety of food and fruits in the breakfast. The hotel staff was polite and thouthful in a comfortable and warming space! Nice spot of the rambla!!!

Price could have been cheaper but the location e the services were really good. Not much to conplain about.

Location is excellent: we wanted something in a pleasant part of the Ramble and with easy access to both Pocitos and City Centre + Ciudad Vieja, that was sufficed. Very attentive and professional staff (always helpful), all the recomended restaurants and attractions paid off. Good breakfast. Nice window view.

Infrastructure could have been better. Main lightbulb of the room burnt the second day, wasn't changed. Doorframe in the bathroom was broken. Second elevator was broken 4 days into the week. Air-conditioner triggered allergies in my wife so we couldn't use it (this is unusual, it probably needed cleaning), carpet floor also had that old/beaten carpet smell (get rid of it, seriously).

The staff is truly amazing! I’ve stayed in quite a few fancy five star hotels and this one exceeds each of them in quality of their people. Location is great too!

you can tell the building is rather old and requires a bit of maintenance. Furniture in rooms needs replacing and the rooms themselves could use a paint job. The bathrooms sometimes smell. And please replace the bedsheets and towels, they are quite worn out.

Great location. Close to many restaurants and nice places. For me is the best point in Montevideo.
