Modern impeccable design, the view 🥰, excellent location, and impressively sound-proofed rooms (10th floor). Standout features include the Toto washlet and exceptional housekeeping. The pool area serves as a peaceful oasis perfect for work or relaxation. The flowers and greenery were especially uplifting among the towering buildings. The restaurant offers delicious, generously portioned dishes with warm, attentive service. Breakfast, while repetitive after 6 nights, provides many quality options but needs better attention to cleanliness - crumbs and food debris on seats and floors were a common sight.

While front desk staff was professional, the service lacked warmth and attention to detail, particularly concerning for a solo female traveler (celebrating my birthday). Basic courtesies like greetings upon entry or assistance with luggage (both arrival and departure) were notably absent. A disappointing final impression was having multiple staff members watch as I overflowed with bags (including a to-go restaurant container) without offering help. Bed comfort is subjective - on the firmer side. The automated bidet features, while luxurious, can be startlingly noisy! Despite service gaps, the hotel's physical amenities and restaurant experience were excellent and I look forward to someday returning.

The breakfast staff are useless and rude and not helpful. No greeting in the morning - you walk in and are ignored. I asked if I may try the traditional Herbal tea as it is advertised by the hot drink station and states to ask staff to help you prepare. I asked and the guy simply replied "I don't know how to do it" and walked off. :-( Each morning was the same lack of communication. We may as well have been invisible.

Welcoming Hotel. Nice rooms, good breakfast. Bar area as pleasant in the evening. Good beach front location, with restaurants around.

Arrived early off a long flight (9am) had to wait 6+ hours for a room to be available. Not impressed. Wifi in the room was terribly slow.

Great location with fantastic view. Quiet sound proofed room, large bed and lots of space for suitcases. Friendly helpful staff. A great breakfast with a good variety of hot and cold, healthy and not so healthy options. We used the pool which was nice after a busy day before the sun disappeared. We also used hotel towels to take a dip in the bay which was nice. Lots of local restaurants.

The floor in the dining room at breakfast was a bit messy, from other diners, but it would have been nice if it could have been swept up.

I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Costanero MGallery. It is a newer boutique hotel and it shows. The location is excellent on the Rambla, close to the beach, and a short drive to major tourist attractions in Montevideo. The breakfast was very good with a variety of offerings. The staff were excellent and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here!

The location

The fact that the room keys only allowed access to assigned floor and the lobby and the breakfast room! Our friends were on different floors and we couldn’t access their floors! And they couldn’t come to ours! Also the stairs didn’t allow access to other floors either…I would say not great in case of a fire! Once you went into the stairwell, you could only open the door to the lobby!!!! Really awful.

This hotel is perfect! Location, decor, staff and service! The rooms are amazingly clean and beautifully decorated. Our room faced the beach, and the window was huge! So we enjoyed that very much. Upon arrival, they gave us vouchers for free drinks at the bar, which we used to have some very delicious gin & tonics! I would definitely stay here again!

Buffet breakfast was very good with wide variety of choices. Also the eating area was beautiful with incredible views. Cute main lounge areas and nice bar available for guests. We had a late night pizza from the bar that was FANTASTIC. Front staff were so cheerful and helpful. Always greeted us and asked about our day (remembering what we were going to do), made us reservations, helped us with transportation, loaned us bikes (small fee), etc. Our room was spacious with a great view overlooking the beach and the ocean/river. We left curtains open to enjoy all the time. Area is very safe and has good access to all the sights. I was relieved we had rented in this area versus the old town.

For a five stars hotel I expected a better service and more resources like a small market inside and water and ice machines. Everything you need you have to ask the reception.
