Restaurants, stores, grocery, gas stations, etc are just a few minutes away. The shower had good hot water flow. The room was fairly decent and clean.

For some unknown reason, during the day, the room was stuffy and warm. When I turned the fan/air conditioner on, it was loud and blew a lot of air even at low speed. In the evening, the outside temperature cooled quite a bit so I had to use the heater which also blew a lot of air. The use of the unit was really annoying. Breakfast was just two types of juices, coffee and tea and muffins. It would've been nice to have at least a pancake maker.

The price, the great accommodating staff. And the super comfortable beds that have been the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in. I make a once a year visit to Alabama and when I fly in and out of Birmingham to do so I without a doubt or hesitation stay at this hotel every year.

The overall condition and look of the property is very old and dated. The surrounding area and at times the parking lot are sketchy and a little scary. There are sometimes sketchy possibly non guest people hanging out in the parking lot. But I've never had problems with those people, and never had anything done to the rental cars I parked there. It would be nice to see this property get a nice touch up and much needed maintenance and possibly some presence of security or deterrent to loitering on property sometime soon. Those factors considered I still love staying here and will continue to stay here, as long as the beds will still be the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept in and most importantly the staff continue to be very kind and hospitable!

The room was descent and it was easy to find the hotel.The bed was comfortable.

The staff member that checked us in wasn’t really friendly.My husband was on medicine that makes him flush his kidney"s. She lied about having a bathroom on the first floor.She said they only had them in the rooms.It was hard to find a parking space because of the big trucks.

Very comfortable. Clean. Neat. Looks great. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO BREAKFAST. They say breakfast included but literally we went downstairs and there was only a blueberry muffin and coffee.

The staff was friendly, it was in a great location, the water was hot, and I got a good bang for my buck.

Cleaning needs to be a bit better. I found someone else’s drawer behind the bed.

Room was nice. Things were clean

Someone on the floor was smoking pot. It was so strong that it woke me up. Very disappointed in that. It was a bit noisy too

Location is great. Rooms are spacious. Quiet so you can get rest.

My room this time had a broken refrigerator and ROACHES. I had to go to Walmart to buy Raid they were coming from everywhere. I notified front desk but they didnt have spray.

Breakfast was one of the things that it's not. It's just light snack more or less. Just small blueberry muffins,and coffee. They were out of apple juice.

Not much to dislike,besides snack for breakfast,over all stay quality was excellent,staff friendly,and price was fair.

The room I had was spacious, comfortable, and one of the nicest hotel rooms. I've stayed in about 5 years period .

They claimed to offer a breakfast, but all it was juice, pre-rapped muffins, and coffee. Not at all what I expected.

The place was clean and quiet. There were coffee, juice and muffins available for the guests. Parking spaces were abundant. The hotel met our minimum requirements. The room had refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board. The WIFI were good and simple. The price were good, comparing with all other hotels in Birmingham and Hoover area.

We stayed downstairs and the guests upstairs were walking really loud. We did not know whether the floor was too thin or the guests were intentionally walking that way. However, they were quiet down after 11 p.m. We wish the hotel have some policies or guidelines about the guests who stayed upstairs that there were potential they could make the noises and disturbed people downstairs.
