During a 3 night stay, tea was unavailable for the first 2 mornings; hot water was even removed so even if I purchased my own, I couldn't make it. Only fresh fruit were apples. Regular black tea was never available.

We evacuated from Florida because of Milton. Pet fees could have been waived (as during Irma at a different Alabama hotel). We extended our stay by one night & were charged $23 more for that night. Price gouging?

The front desk and the lady in the cafe was very nice.

They were doing something with a holes to the rooms. When I returned to my room the door was cracked and know was working in it anyone could have went into my room that was a concern for me. Later that evening when the family returned it was a smelly odor. The other staff were not friendly.

When making reservations I'd prefer not to use a third party the aquire the best rate. I like Hamton inns and would rather work with you. My wife and I are in our upper 80's and I'd prefer to deal with only one company

The rooms were good and the reception area as welcoming.

The breakfast was mediocre at best. I totally understand the continental breakfast idea, but the breakfast here was not what it should have been given the price of the hotel compared to others in the area. The coffee was a 5 out of 10. 

The staff was very friendly throughout the duration of our stay. I would recommend others to visit this location.

The website states no pets allowed at hotel. Therefore, I left my 3.5 pound Yorkie-poo at home. Which made me feel bad for doing so. Only to get to the hotel and see several people walking around within the hotel with big dogs. At this point I ask the clerk about pets being on the premises. And the clerk said that pets were allowed at hotel. But it was too late to go back and get my baby, due to being 3 hours from home.

They are currently remodeling, so the floor, where we stayed was all new and smelled very fresh and clean, as did the lobby. It was also a good location close to restaurants

A little pricey

The hotel was clean and well located for our needs.

First morning - room coffee maker did not work. It had a missing part. Only after I went down to the front desk and spoke with the manager was the issues resolved. Calling the front desk did not produce any action on their part.

The location was very close to where our events were held.

The elevator door was extremely slow to open and close. The elevator would move after people entered but before shutting the door. A sign was posted stating that no more than 5 people should be in the elevator at one time.

It was clean, and the breakfast was very good.

We had a little problem getting into the parking lot. The property is a little setback.

The room and the wifi

There were no directions for the TV. Didn't know when breakfast was in the morning until I specifically asked. Didn't see it in the room or posted in the lobby. I was surprised that information wasnt in the room like in other hotels. Also the breakfast was good but not like the LA Quinta. Biscuits and gravy and sausage was a disappointment. Scrambled eggs can't be that expensive otherwise why would LA Quinta be doing it. Room prices were comparable.
