This is an older inn but very well taken care of and CLEAN. We had zero issues. My daughter and I were in Fairhope for a volleyball tournament so we just needed a place that was safe and affordable. The beds were comfortable and my daughter slept like a baby which she needed. There’s hot breakfast, not big but good. Exceptional staff, super friendly and accommodating. The location is very convenient. Right behind Dollar Tree. In walking distance to several restaurants. There’s a great Vietnam restaurant not far with great food at reasonable prices. If come back to Fairhope, will certainly stay here again.

The walls are a little thin so if someone is talking outside it’s easy to hear. I played soft meditation music on my phone and that helped. Suggest bringing something that plays light music or white noise.

This is a good budget hotel - nothing fancy, but comfortable, reasonably priced and great location. Staff was pleasant and breakfast was good. We stayed only one night while evacuating for Hurricane Helene, and we had never been to Fairhope before. This was a nice area, and I would like to come back and visit it again.

The flooring in the room appeared to be vinyl planking, which we highly prefer over carpet, and although it looked clean, our feet were dirty after walking on it. Also, when we arrived and walked in the lobby, the volume on the TV in the lobby was turned up quite loud, and it made it difficult for me to hear when speaking to the person at the front desk.

Would stay again. Room was clean, service people walking around all the time since this is an outdoor entrance facility. Meaning all entrances are exposed to the parking lot. No interior walkway or enclosed space like large hotels where you would walk to your room. All entrances to rooms face the parking lot. Which in one way provides good visibility if there are creepy people around. BUT the other hand, all the entrances can be accessed from the parking lot. Breakfast was always hot, fresh eggs, sausage, biscuits, breads and adequately furnished. No pre-packaged meals. Bananas, apples were available and the fresh coffee was great. The lighting in the parking lot was very bright and covered all corners of the property. Location to the downtown Art Festival was 1.5 miles just beyond walking distance but never had a problem finding a parking spot. Check-in to our room was really sweet since we just arrived at 11AM and they just completed a room. That let us unpack and freshen up before heading to the Art Festival. BTW...for those antique hunters, there is an exceptional store located right next door to this hotel. This was not our first choice but all other hotels close to Fairhope downtown were already booked and found this gem of a motel. They also offer a 10% discount for paying cash which I didn't know about until reaching the front desk. We had already paid through booking.com or else I might have taken them up on this offer.

First room that was offered had a really bad odor and was most likely occupied by a dog and its owner(s) and even possibly a smoker or two. Couldn't bear even being in the room for 1 minute before feeling ill. Went back to the office manager and mentioned that we'd like a new room and they accommodated us right away. They also sent 2-3 people over to perform a room make-over; dismantle and replacing the A/C filter, wash down the walls and floors and bathroom, etc. Was nice to see them taking such quick action to respond even though it was a different room than they offered us.

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. No fee for service animals. Breakfast included. Convenient distance from charming Old Town Fairhope.

Our trip was for Bellingrath Gardens. The booking site search engine listed Key West Inn as 16 miles from Bellingrath Gardens. When we entered it into the GPS, it was 45 miles from Bellingrath Gardens, an hours drive away. Nice location for Fairhope, but had we known the real driving distance, we would have stayed closer to Bellingrath.

Didn’t expect a free breakfast, nice bonus. Very good variety of food. The receptionist made sure I knew about it and was proud of the quality of food they offered. Location was within 2 miles of my destination. This location was perfect for my trip needs. I’m sure if I stayed longer I would have taken advantage of the other amenities such as the pool and some of the other attractions in the area. I would stay there again if I had reason to visit the area again. Price seemed very reasonable for this area.

I have no complaints

Our flight was delayed which caused us to miss our connection. I assumed that because I had booked 2 nights I could just turn up the next day, which was not the case! Despite this, when I arrived at key West the following day after missing our first night they still checked us in no problem which was a massive relief after travelling from Ireland and having to sleep in the airport. Very friendly and helpful.

Nice clean property with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good.

The air conditioning was stuck on high. I even turned it off at the wall control, but it kept going. Room temp was 65 when we got there and 63 when we got up in the morning. I finally unplugged the window unit before hypothermia set in.

We have stayed here multiple times and we absolutely love it. The staff is amazing and so attentive. Super clean and welcoming.

The only thing that would make the stay 5⭐️ is for owners to put some money into the pillows. We had a double bed with only 2 very old flat like pancakes pillows. It was miserable. It doesn’t cost much to make the entire stay amazing. Please get 4 cushion pillows per bed..Most people sleep with 2. Hopefully next time we come back they will have this done💕

I travel between southeast Florida and Louisiana a couple of times a year. We go out of our way to stay here, and it once again did not disappoint. We just love the convenience of parking in front of your room when we are just there overnight. Also, wonderful that they can host our tiny fur baby and have a breakfast! The people are so very nice. Keep us the great job!

Breakfast was great. Wonderful selection of choices. Convenient and clean location. Beds were very comfortable. Conveniently located close to business district and eateries.⁶

Heard loud, argumentative male voice in adjoining room in the middle of the night. It continued off and on for several hours. Could hear quieter female voice that seemed to be trying to calm him. Foreign language I couldn't understand.
