Location close to central Palmer. Room was clean. Some street noise, but otherwise quiet. A temporary heating/cooling unit was setup under the window but the intake wasn't connected to the outside. We were able to open the window and run the ceiling fan, which was adequate for cooling down the room. We were disappointed that the attached Sunrise Grill was closed for the entire month of July (based on a hand-written sign taped to the entrance door) but we found other places to eat nearby.

HVAC was not fully connected. Sunrise Grill was closed (but Google Maps showed it as open).

The Eagle Hotel had ample parking and a simple system for checking in after hours via telephone at the front desk. All common areas were neat and clean. The room was oversized and well appointed with comfortable chairs and modern decor. Room darkening curtains covered the sliding door to the deck area and beyond was the gorgeous mountain view. The bed, pillows and linens were in great shape and provided an extremely comfortable stay. The bathroom, shower and towels were equally provided for our comfort. We had a great stay at the Eagle Hotel.

Our stay at the Eagle Hotel was a positive one with no negatives comments to make.

During our stay in Alaska we stumbled on the charming city of Palmer as we headed North to Denali National Park. We stayed one night at the Eagle Hotel and liked it so much, we decided to stay another night on our return trip to Anchorage. It is conveniently located about 30 minutes outside of Anchorage. The hotel and room are extremely clean and although we didn't use it, has a very nice laundry room.

This hotel doesn't look like much on the outside, but it's one of the most luxurious hotels I've ever stayed in on the inside! Free books in the lobby, the Sunrise Grill restaurant was awesome, spacious room, quiet, clean bathroom & shower (which is rare, believe me!), close to the fairgrounds, and when we arrived after hours it was a very easy contactless check-in. The heater in our room wasn't working, but within minutes of reporting it someone brought a plug-in heater to our room that totally did the trick! ;)

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times and what we really like is that it is right in downtown Palmer and the handicap room is wonderful. The parking in the rear of the hotel is very convenient. The Sunrise Restaurant in the same building is a real plus factor, They have very good food and the service is very good.

Nothing! The Eagle Hotel in Palmer is one of our favorite hotels.

Nice rooms, comfortable and spacious. The diner connecting to the hotel was awesome. Server was very nice and helpful about the area. Food was very good.

The plug-in air freshners. Too strong, had to remove and put in a drawer. Never met a person at the front desk. Had to call on the phone to checkin. Even at check out there was not a person at the desk. First time ever encountering this process!

We absolutely loved everything about the hotel, great location, very pleasing entrance, we loved how spacious the room and the bathroom were. The restaurant connected had the best pancakes and bacon we’ve had anywhere else. Also parking is in the back of the hotel! And there is a door for you to get in from the back! It’s right across from this train which my kids lived!

Property seems recently renovated. The queen rooms are quite spacious and have a fridge and microwave. The hallway carpet is super plush, felt bad having shoes on. The rooms were very clean and came with soap, shower gel, and conditioning shampoo.

Literally never saw a staff at checkin. Met one person when the power briefly went out. Check in seemed less than organized, but made it to room with little issue.

the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. she made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. we had a problem with the tv and she even came to the room to help us get it working. the room was big and clean and comfortable. the shower was very refreshing with great water pressure. the view of the mountains was breathtaking, even though I have lived in Alaska for several years and enjoy the mountains where I live, the city itself was not the best location, but the mountains made up for it, and we felt safe at this location

the electrical and technical aspects were out dated. but the internet worked well. outlets were not as convenient as we usually enjoy.

The room was very clean and big. The shower was great. Lots of hot water.

No person at check in. Had to call and they sent room number and entrance code. We got locked out. Housekeeping next door cleaning took care of us and got an electronic key. Didn’t like not having person to check in.
