The Eagle Hotel had ample parking and a simple system for checking in after hours via telephone at the front desk. All common areas were neat and clean. The room was oversized and well appointed with comfortable chairs and modern decor. Room darkening curtains covered the sliding door to the deck area and beyond was the gorgeous mountain view. The bed, pillows and linens were in great shape and provided an extremely comfortable stay. The bathroom, shower and towels were equally provided for our comfort. We had a great stay at the Eagle Hotel.

Our stay at the Eagle Hotel was a positive one with no negatives comments to make.

During our stay in Alaska we stumbled on the charming city of Palmer as we headed North to Denali National Park. We stayed one night at the Eagle Hotel and liked it so much, we decided to stay another night on our return trip to Anchorage. It is conveniently located about 30 minutes outside of Anchorage. The hotel and room are extremely clean and although we didn't use it, has a very nice laundry room.

This hotel doesn't look like much on the outside, but it's one of the most luxurious hotels I've ever stayed in on the inside! Free books in the lobby, the Sunrise Grill restaurant was awesome, spacious room, quiet, clean bathroom & shower (which is rare, believe me!), close to the fairgrounds, and when we arrived after hours it was a very easy contactless check-in. The heater in our room wasn't working, but within minutes of reporting it someone brought a plug-in heater to our room that totally did the trick! ;)

Property seems recently renovated. The queen rooms are quite spacious and have a fridge and microwave. The hallway carpet is super plush, felt bad having shoes on. The rooms were very clean and came with soap, shower gel, and conditioning shampoo.

Literally never saw a staff at checkin. Met one person when the power briefly went out. Check in seemed less than organized, but made it to room with little issue.

the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. she made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. we had a problem with the tv and she even came to the room to help us get it working. the room was big and clean and comfortable. the shower was very refreshing with great water pressure. the view of the mountains was breathtaking, even though I have lived in Alaska for several years and enjoy the mountains where I live, the city itself was not the best location, but the mountains made up for it, and we felt safe at this location

the electrical and technical aspects were out dated. but the internet worked well. outlets were not as convenient as we usually enjoy.

The staff were very friendly. The lobby, rooms were very clean. It is so much better than the Pioneer Motel up the street, which is a nightmare. Eagle Hotel is quiet, clean, and beautifully redone. I highly recommend for solo travelers or families.

My only issue is their check-in process. There is no one at the counter during the day. You have to call a phone number to get checked in and download an app to get your digital key. It was a little strange, but not complicated. But the staff I did encounter were really nice & helpful.

I stay in a lot of motels and this is the first time I've ever walked into one and said wow this is really nice much better than I expected I wish I could move this motel to the next place I go stay excellent

Searching for something negative to say it was kind of a long time to get hot water but once it got there it was plenty of it and plenty hot

We had the king room with private bathroom and it was huge. Bed was very comfortable, armchairs were really comfortable, it was honestly better than I had expected, looking at the building from the outside. Great breakfast place within the hotel as well, with a huge selection of options and great food.

To get to the king room we had, you had to walk up two short flights of stairs, which could be an issue if you can't carry your luggage up.

Theattached cafe was very good. Family operated very friendly. when the desk was attended the folks very very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean and comfortable.

The check in by phone and app. was difficult for us. Would like to suggest two luggage racks to set luggage on. Needs a full length mirror. Room entry door and interior door should be replaced. was kind of a skeptical first impression but was suprised when we got into the room.

Very comfortable, large room! Doors out to the roof with a balcony was very cool! Cushiest carpet ever, please no shoes as stated. Bring your slippers, it’s Alaska! Super large tv! We were very happy with the room and also great breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. (Not free)
