The first thing I noticed when walking into the room was how clean it smelled. You don't get that fresh scent at some of the other hotels I've stayed at. I also liked that the bathroom floor didn't get wet from me taking a shower. The shower curtains were great and the bath gel smelt wonderful. I didn't want to get out of the shower...

A higher floor, a bay view... but that's on me cause I forgot to ask for that when I was checking in.

It is next to water, which creates a peaceful space for an otherwise often stressful travel situation— hoping to and from the airport after a long week of travel. The shuttle to the airport is large and timely. It runs every 15 mins for 24 hours and is prompt. The bar and restaurant were well staffed and the food was great! I had the Ahi tuna salad at a very reasonable price and in an open and modern atmosphere adjacent to the lobby. I thoroughly enjoyed it .

I liked everything. And I am a very picky traveler ! Way to go, Marriott Waterfront !

The location right on the water was appealing - I could go for a long walk. I liked that there was a restaurant and Starbucks there so I had everything thing I needed to recharge after a long haul flight. The shuttle to the airport was really handy. Airport hotels are often not very nice places to hang out but this was an exception. There was even a rainbow on my walk.

The room was big and spacious, with a clean and nice bathroom. The lug was clean and not too old, so I could walk into the room without shoes or socks. The room refrigerator was silent; I loved it. The bed was clean, and comfy. Overall, the room was precious and worth the money.

I did not know that there was no bathtub. I hoped to have a big bathtub with a nice hot water tub to heal my body before bed. Only a shower? I was very shocked to find that there was only a shower room. Why?

Beautiful location near SFO airport with a walking path by the waterfront. Short hop to airport with free shuttle bus every 15 min. Convenient

Cleaning of room is by request. when checking in I had asked for cleaning on day 2 (staying 4 nights). Front desk said they will arrange but it wasn’t done. Had to request for clean up again. Wifi is not free. Have to be member of Marriott, which I am. Front desk didn’t even ask for membership until I asked about need to pay for Wifi. Also no free bottled water. I discovered the dispenser in the lobby on day of checkout

The view from anywhere on the hotel grounds was fantastic! The lights of the airport across the water were so beautiful. The food at the hotel was great and the beds were perfection. Was worried the sound of the planes in the distance might be an issue for my light-sleeping friend but she said it wasn't an issue and she slept great. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The shuttle drivers were on time and professional. All-in-all, very happy with our stay.

I needed to call the front desk to ask about the shuttle options from the airport: trying to get a phone number, or connection, to the front desk of the actual hotel was a NIGHTMARE! TOOK THREE CALLS to the general number. Maddening. Also the smell of the potpourri as you walk into the hotel lobby was obtrusive. Several of us in the elevator commented the same thing...WAAAAY too strong.

Great location close to airport with free shuttle service. Loved being next to water with views from room and vast lobby dining area. Lots of space and ample dining options.There are also a number of easy to walk to popular restaurants nearby. Busy hotel but comfortable and easy to relax. Pleasant staff.

Have to pay $50.00 extra for parking per night. Dinning was very good, but very expensive. 'Included' breakfast did not cover two entrees and two coffees. Still had to pay $10.00 more.

A bit more light in the room - we had a view over the side entrance to the building next door and apart from not being the most exciting view, it got a bit dark in there. only a minor issue though. Decor maybe felt a little old school in the room, but that's just down to taste

Location is great for the night before an early morning flight. Breakfast at the Marriott lounge was great.

Room carpet is old and kind of smell. Not good for people with allergies like me. They gave me a room facing the “mountains” instead of water because it was supposed to be quieter ( planes landing). However the room faced construction and the noise started super early in the morning.
