Staff is very attentive, rooms were clean and the hotel has been updated in the last year. Applebee’s is a short walk away. John Jay is our annual stop on our drive to Cabo. Great value and breakfast is included. They are also pet friendly.

Ice machine seems to make more slush and less ice cubes. Wish they had a real ice machine.

Staff was all very nice and helpful. The location was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast had a lot of options and check out was very easy and fast. We are locals, our ac broke and we’re are so thankful we could get a room on short notice.

Coffee in the room. The hallways and room was clean.

It would have been very nice if there was bottled water in the room. The breakfast could have been better. The gravy was gray, the bacon and sausage under cooked.

Room was clean, didn't have any odors, was stocked with toiletries n coffee/tea. The microwave n fridge were in working order. I would stay here again.

The road in the entrance had a pothole, uneven/stained carpeting underneath the sink, n the toilet had a constant leak n had to jiggle the lever a few times for a flush. The window view (1st floor) was unpleasant, broken glass n a abandoned water heater.

Very clean and modern property

Front desk staff is very dry, and there was no greeting, especially from the morning auditor. I worked 15 years in the industry in four star resorts, and front desk staff get a D- for customer service in my opinion

For a Best western and especially in Calexico. I would say it was surprisingly good. I was a little skeptical at first. But very clean, beds were comfy. As far as the staff goes, not very welcoming. Also one great thing is that you can’t hear the people in the next rooms which to me is very important! Especially if they’re loud. So I appreciate that they have thick walls. But other than that it was a pretty good stay for your moneys worth.

Staff was not welcoming. Other than that everything was fine.

The staff was very friendly and when i asked to change rooms because the sofa sleeper wasn’t good for my daughter, they didn’t hesitate.

Maybe a bigger dining area

Maybe put a rail in the shower I have problems standing up by myself

24/7 decaffeinated coffee, love the shower for older guests.

Breakfast was cold, the same thing of cold potatoes, gravy was cold, biscuits were cold and hard. Only one comfortable chair, we were 2 adults.

It was a little pricy this visit. Not sure what was going on in town but the price seemed to be about $60 dollars more then normal.
