I liked the facility, but the surrounding area was very rundown. You could not walk to a local eating place and feel safe.

There was graffiti next door to the hotel and very dirty.

We loved our stay! Breakfast was delicious and there were a variety of choices the select. During our stay, my mom noticed the fridge was not working properly. It was important we had a good fridge so we can store her medicine. She called the front and they took care of it right away! There was no long wait or attitude from the gentleman. He was the kindest and very professional. The location was only 20 mins from main attractions and there were a great selection of restaurants surrounding the hotel. The kids had a blast at the pool, which was kept clean at all times. Loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

I would just add instructions for the curtains. We had to ask another wonderful staff t show us and maybe more fruit selections for breakfast.

My mother and I had a great time... Check in was easy and very present. Our check in clerk made our welcoming very pleasant for my mom and I and also my sister and brother in law when they checked in later. We had planned a weekend game at Petco Park our easy walk to the trolley was amazing being that the San Diego Trolley was only a block away from the hotel. I wish I could remember the clerks name not to sure if it was Tiffany. We will defiantly recommend to family and friends.

The location was great and the staff were super friendly and welcoming (specially Ramona). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was great, plenty of variety to choose from. The hotel was near some restaurants and grocery stores and near the expressway as well. I liked how they have a list of al the main channels cause most hotels don’t have that, easier if you are looking for something in particular. It was a great stay !

The pool and jacuzzi were a bit dirty but maybe it was the wind, it was not a big deal though

We loved the location, cleanliness, service, and value. Breakfast was great. Kids loved it.

The bedroom was nice and cozy except for the pullout bed. The mattress wasn't very comfy. I wish there was more lighting in the main bedroom on the ceiling. The hot tub was nice. Since the weather was cloudy, the regular swimming pool wasn't heated at all as described.

The room was very comfortable and clean with several amenities such as a full size refrigerator, sink and dishes with a large microwave. A wonderful complimentary breakfast every morning and the location was very close to the main roads. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to anything we needed.

Only complaint was the elevator was occupied quite a bit between staff and guests, there was only one elevator for 4 floors.

Friendly staff (checkin desk, housekeeping, and breakfast area), comfortable beds with different pillows (some soft feathers, some medium polyester fill), and great breakfast. Breakfast had eggs with American cheese, pork and turkey sausages, breads and bagels, biscuits and gravy, pancake machine, fruits and yogurt, juice machine, 3 different cereals, and cinnamon rolls. Also coffee was great.

The cleanliness of the carpet in the room could’ve been better. There were some shady looking stains.

At first glance, one might overlook this location, but it was definately a great value, friendly and helpful staff and nice breakfast selection.

Only thing I did not like was that there was only one elevator that broke down one day. Glad I wasn't on it!!😁 but it was fixed very quickly.

The great service from Jonathan as he greeted us and the accommodation we received at This Holiday Inn Express Hotel location. The breakfast was excellent, and the ladies in the kitchen were some nice and organized. Thank you to all the staff from me and my family.
