I loved the theming of the rooms the were so cute and the lobby and game room were very appealing. The pool area was nice too. I loved all the decor in the motel. It was very instgrammable.

I think the only thing I didn't like were the other guests. I was there with my niece and nephew who are 10 and 12 and they were enjoying the pool until some older teenage boys got there and they were playing very rough and throwing a football that barely missed the kids. I felt like they were doing it on purpose so they could have the pool to themselves. So we left and weren't able to enjoy the rest of the evening.

The property was really nice and location was great. We took the trolley which was walking distance so that was convenient for us to get into town. Location was perfect too, it was quiet and chill and not a lot of cars driving around. The pool was cool and the coffee shop they had was good too. Only issue I had was the amount of time it took to get our food and coffee from the rambler coffee shop. But I think it just too busy and staff was overwhelmed.

Everything was good to me. For the value it was great.

I liked that there was a coffee shop on site and that guests received 40% off...that was a huge bonus with not having a breakfast. I was able to grab quick snacks like yogurt for the kids and coffee for us. The rooms felt new and clean! I thought they were so cute! The beds were the best beds we've been in at a hotel in a LONG time which is just great to see they spent some money on that and not just the looks. I was bummed at first to be a bit further out of San Diego but it was SO nice to be out where you could see the water and there was a lovely walking trail we took with the kids! They even had free bikes to use and scooters for kids but we had a little one too so we couldn't do it, but so great for older kids!

You could tell the bathrooms weren't as updated and don't love that there was a casino right there but everything else was great and still felt safe. There was no fridge in the room which I guess I just used to but I can see why with the price we paid. We survived without it!

I travel with a certain frequency between Mexico and the USA. Many times my schedule is conducive to staying in San Diego/ Chula Vista area. This hotel is going on my list as a trusted place to stay. Clean and renovated rooms. Stylish, fun vibe. Super comfortable beds, and tall, nice pillows. Great location, walking distance to public transportation. Also close to freeways, and yet perfectly quiet.

Tried going to their cafe/ convenience mart in the evening but found it closed. Nothing that can’t be solved by delivery.

Room is clean and offers exactly what is advertised for a good value. Nothing special but perfect for an affordable short stay. It also has free parking with plenty of space. Check in and check out is quick and staff in the reception is good.

Desk in the room is a bit small and there aren’t any other amenities, so maybe not the most comfortable place for long stays, but again it offers what is advertised so no particular complain here.

Here from UK and travelling the SW. This is by far the best hotel/motel we've stayed in so far. We even booked an extra night. Pool is great, room is great, staff are all great. No in room coffee/tea facilities but the onsight coffee shop makes better than I do so def can't complain + get discount as a resident. Cannot recommend this place enough. If I lived nearer I'd be back in a shot. Great laid back vibes x

No downsides. Fridge might have been nice as staying a few days but didn't spoil the trip.

Cute, eclectic, fun atmosphere with a funky SoCal vibe, memory foam beds were comfortable and room overall was cozy. Simple diner with coffee & danishes part of establishment that offers discount to guest so that was nice. Outdoor area with pool, fire pit & games was great. Movie night on Saturday was a plus too!

No mini fridges in rooms so we couldn’t keep drinks cold (only small bucket for ice is provided). WiFi is TERRIBLE. It is offered but barely worked for us.

Location, great caring employees, clean and a cool vibe. Love my morning walks, across the street, is a park around the harbor. Then a little breakfast at there cafe. Prices very reasonable. Can even walk to the trolley for San Diego access. There is even a little a casino in walking distance with bar and great food.

Loved the look and feel of the place and it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very kind and helpful

The amenities are non-existent. No fridge no microwave and getting an iron and board we had to wait for housekeeping the next day.

Everything was near by the motel . A gas station was less than 5 minutes away as well as fast food .

The only bad thing was the mattress was old you could feel it when you lay down on the bed. The tendons that would pass by speaking so loud and people pulling into the park lot bumping music.
