I want to express my gratitude to Ms. Mumbi Muhu and Ms. Betty Rios of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Corona, CA. On the morning of Thursday, March 21, I had the pleasure of speaking to both after a horrendous night at a competitor’s hotel (my room reserved since Dec. ’23 had been given to someone else, despite my arrival before 10pm). I had slept poorly at a dingy hotel 15 miles away (far from the Basketball tournament event venues). I was scrambling to find anything (spring break and another massive soccer tournament had booked nearly every hotel room). When I was able to find this room at the Corona Holiday Inn Express on Google and book it, I quickly called to validate they indeed could see my reservation and I asked how soon I could check in (fearing I might lose the room again—I needed it through the weekend for the tournament). Mumbi was very understanding and gracious, despite my anxiety. She even called me when they changed my room number, just to make sure it didn’t panic me when I arrived. I needed a room with 2 queen beds, as I had my family of 4 with me. When I arrived, it was a breath of fresh air, compared to the experience I’d had with ESA staff the night before and that morning. They upgraded me to a suite without my asking and this gesture has made me a champion for Holiday Inn going forward! Mumbi and Betty are to be congratulated for running a top-notch hotel in the area. I plan to return to this particular hotel when in the area BECAUSE of these two wonderful people (and its ideal location and beautiful facility)! Kudos to them both!

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff was super friendly. Room was comfortable and has a lot of conveniences that I look for in hotels - a place to put your bag that's not on the ground, lots of hooks to hang stuff, etc. High quality iron and ironing board, important when traveling for work. I'd definitely stay again.

Thankfully this wasn't a huge issue, but it could be depending on who is around you: the door and walls are definitely super thin (large gap between floor and door). If you had loud neighbors this could definitely be a problem.

Controlling the AC, two beds both comfortable, good storage

The coffee Mach did not heat the water and was in a too small space, Yoel’s stored over toilet, soaps and shampoo highly chemicalizef.

Breakfast was the best we had on a 12 day trip. There is a 5 guy's in the next parking lot if yo are tired and other restaurants are a 5 minute drive, the same as other hotels in Roseburg.

Everything was good!

Central location for activities in and around Corona. We had a large room and bathroom with plenty of space. The reception staff were always very friendly and helpful.

The quality of breakfast was satisfactory, but would have been more enjoyable if served with real crockery and cutlery rather than paper and plastic.

Great costumer service place was clean ! Room was a great size breakfast was great and pool was well kept and stocked with towels ! Free parking !

Door for the bathroom was a little jammed

Breakfast was good front desk staff was friendly.

Housekeeping had to be dragooned into cleaning room. When we threw a fit they finally responded.

It was close to where we were going and we were able to check in early

That it was tucked in between two large signs so we missed the entrance but GPS showed us how to get back to it,

I honestly liked the breakfast area I forgot the lady’s name but she was so helpful and she was always making sure we were okay also the hotel itself was worth the money

Nothing bad to said

Amanda at the front desk was amazing. She greeted us with a smile. She was so patient. And really seemed she enjoy being there. The staff were all very polite. The pool was nice and not to cold. And breakfast was great had many options to choose from. I left my toothbrush at home and was able to get a complementary toothpaste and toothpaste from the front desk.

However, the bed was sloppy made and has all sort of hair in the sheets, cover and pillow top. The pillow were dirty looking and also had hair. You could tell it was hair from several different people. I had to ask for more sheet and because house keeping left for the day I had to strip and make the bed. Which sucks because I was on a mini vacation and the last thing I felt like doing was making a bed. But other than that everything was pretty clean and really enjoyed my stay.
