We didn’t have the breakfast as we were visiting friends who we ate meals with, but the room was quiet, comfortable, and clean, and the bathroom supplies were great. We traveled with our 4-year-old and the hotel felt friendly and safe. I liked the water filter in the hallway to refill bottles with. Location was good and only about 20 minutes from Golden Gate Park.

The coffee and creamer weren’t great but I suppose if we had gone to breakfast we might have had better options. For 240 a night, though, it would have been nice to have a few more complementary supplies and better quality drinks in the room.

I love the location and it's security and safety. It is about 15 minutes to the beach in Pacifica and very close to SF. I love the large continental breakfast that it offers, which saves time from having to go out to eat while traveling.

During this stay, there were too many cars in the parking lot, so I had to park out on the street. Small inconvenience because the hotel is across the street from the police station, and it felt safe. The hotel gives parking passes, so there were obviously a couple of cars that chose to park without a pass, otherwise there would have been enough spaces.

We've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Daly City, CA a number of times and have always enjoyed our stay. The Inn remodeling was great, the facility was very, very clean, the breakfast selection was good and the staff was very friendly and polite.

The only drawback were the beds that were too hard for me since I have back trouble. I had to improvise by adding pillows under the sheets to make it tolerable but it's not just the Hampton--it seems mostly all of the hotels I've stayed in have very firm mattresses. Why not allocate a few rooms with soft mattresses?

As I always say, this had been our second home since 2018 when my child started college at SFSU. The only hotel I trust! The hotel is clean,comfortable and staff are friendly I miss the people from a while back. I feel safe here. There was a problem with the garage entrance door that was like a swing door in August and I indicated that in my review ( Hotels.com). They fixed that. Now they added extra security . You have to ring the doorbell and someone from the other side screens the guest before letting in. Two thumbs up! Great job. My child is graduating already and I’m proud to say that HAMPTON has been our home away from home! I had to book this hotel through Booking.com. There’s something wrong with One Key where I always review this hotel.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were well kept. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. My only criticism was that the sofa bed in the king room was too worn out to sleep on; one could feel the springs and it was uneven, with low spot in the middle. It should be replaced or not billed as offering a third place for sleeping in the room.

The hotel was really excellent. Basic but really clean and comfortable with all that I needed. Lots of USB charging ports right near the bed and by the desk, huge bed with comfortable mattress and pillows, room cleaning service when needed, big bathroom, good water pressure. Big free car park.

The location was perfect for what I needed but a bit out of the way for San Francisco city touring. The breakfast had lots of choice but wasn't great - the hot food seemed cooked elsewhere or micorwaved, but there was cereal and toast/bagels and self-made waffles.

Friendly and helpful staff (morning and evening shifts). The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and all the basic bathroom essentials were provided. The breakfast was particularly enjoyable - quite a few options to choose from. And the working/breakfast tables in the lobby area were a nice plus.

Our room was on the street level, so we weren't comfortable pulling up the blinds/curtains at all. Also my wife had hoped to use the fitness center, but there wasn't a complete set of weights for her specific workout. But that wasn't a priority, so not the biggest deal.

This is our third time rebooking here and we can’t wait to come back! We love the staff, the rooms, the location and the breakfast!!!

If I were trying to find something to improve upon, better blankets and pillows for the bed.

Many things to like about this hotel. Our room was roomy with an updated large bathroom and big walk in shower and it was spotless. The bed was comfortable. There are lots thoughtful items like many outlets everywhere with usb, full length mirror and even a coat rack to hang your coats. The fitness area is in the basement and a huge area. It was clean with towels, water, sanitizer and you don't have to worry about working out closely with a stranger because it's such a large area. Good variety of workout equipment: treadmills, rowing machine, bike, and weights. Nice size breakfast area with a variety of options. I like oatmeal, yogurt and fruit and they had the homemade oatmeal, not packets. They also have waffles to make, cereals, juices, toast/breads/muffins and different hot options daily like egg omelets, bacon, sausages, etc. Hard to find a hotel with free parking in the area so that is much appreciated. This was one of the cleanest hotels that I have stayed in. We will always stay here in the future.

We had to park on the street one night because the parking area was full. The heater/ac in the room is the kind by the window that makes noise when the fan goes on.
