We loved the location and the surrounding shops, restaurants and breweries. The hotel was lovely and staff was very friendly and helpful. Seacoast 180 restaurant was a very convenient place to eat with delicious food, courteous staff and a beautiful view of the ocean.

I expected the room to be cleaner and well maintained as in the pictures on the website. The windows in the room and balcony were dirty, the balcony door knob was faulty, the window cranks in the room were broken and windows were not able to open. The coffee table and end table tops were dirty as well. The door of our Hotel room was also faulty, it wouldn't close without slamming it shut.

Great location. Secluded. Not crowded. Marriott beds.

1. Wifi was not sufficient for netflix. 2. Not as clean as other Marriotts. Windows dirty on balcony and restaurant looking from the patio to the beach. Couch pillow stained. Peanut shells left on balcony. A little more effort put into cleaning would be great. 3. Charging from bedside lamp fried my phone battery port.

Not that I didn't like it, but the normal wear and tear from sea salt mist has definitely played its part in the deterioration in some of the exterior fixtures, fences, glass, etc. The main elevator seemed to be having some issues. Luckily the staff realized we were kind of stuck in the elevator and offered us the use of their staff elevator. Again.... Mechanical stuff happens, not the staffs fault.

Staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Location is perfect. Our room was in excellent condition and clean. Truly a comfortable room. The hot tub and pool are exceptional.

HVAC system in the room was annoyingly loud. Food in the hotel restaurant is far overrated and not worth the price. The elevator is in rough shape and slow.

Its an amazing secluded location at the same time it’s in the middle of a beach town on the edge of the water with the most amazing views from our room and roof top and pool and restaurant or spa . Not a bad view in sight at this location

Had some pricing situations that I believe u was charged more than expected. I didn't know how to deal with it being that I was helped by three different people with different prices that weren't communicated.

We came for our 30th Anniversary. We were a little nervous because of some of the reviews, but we had no issues and absolutely loved our stay! We want to visit again! The location was Great! It was right by the beach. We could see the ocean and the pier, the pool and hot tub right from our balcony. The view was beautiful!! We could hear the waves at night. It was so peaceful! There were bikes to check out and we had a fun bike ride. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It had lots of nice furniture. The place was Very nice! There's a cute little ice cream shop right close with yummy ice cream. Great restaurants nearby. Every evening on the roof, they serve appetizers and drinks. Every one of the staff members was very happy and friendly! LOVED IT!!!

The only thing we wish could be better is the pricing so we could come more often and also bring our whole family. We absolutely loved staying there but can't afford to do it much. It was our 30th anniversary and our daughter helped us pay some of it so my dream of staying right on the beach would come true.

I would love to recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to San Diego. You will be more than pleased, I promise you. I traveled across the world, but this ll be on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The staff at this property are all fantastic! They was the nicest staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. I can not forget to mention, how amazing it is, to wake up and see the ocean from your balcony.
