The breakfast is: cereal and toast with peanut butter jam and some fruit, there is coffee and a small kitchen but ample seating in the dinning space

It was very cozy, the common area feels like the living room of a cozy home from a friend where you always want to hang out. The dormrooms were big and nice, the kitchen a bit tiny and no stove, but at least there was a kitchen so I don't want to complain about it. The bathrooms were always clean.

The beds were not really comfy and very loud, everytime someone is moving just a tiny little bit, its super loud and the whole room wakes up. You can tell that the beds are not in good quality and have been used for a long time or they were just really cheap. The matress is comfy, just the bedframes are shaky, loud and didn't feel stable.

Hosts are hardworking & friendly, location is great. A good place to be social and make friends if that’s what you want.

Had to shake some black hairs off of my bedsheet & pillow when settling in on the first day. + The showers weren’t always that clean: there was hair everywhere. (That’s just a personal ‘problem’ for me that I noticed very quickly, it’s nothing against the hostel, it happens! But maybe try and check the showers more often when it comes to hairs on/in the drain?)

The price of the room is definitely great. The location was also convenient. I arrived late on a Saturday and found parking right on the corner, which was great. Also everything seemed clean.

The bed is quite loud and squeeky, so when I arrived late at night I felt like I was disturbing the others who were already asleep. Also the mattress is very thin, so it feels a bit hard. But it was fine for me for just one night.

I like the private bathrooms, stalls for showers, and friendly staff. I liked that people were forced to wash their plate because other guest's were somewhat dirty.

When I wanted to use the washroom, the shower was dirty, with soap gel and hair all over the floor, and vomit in the sink. Sometimes, the milk for the cereal was gone, so sometimes other guests took more than they needed and weren't all that considerate of others. E.g. There was some old European guy in his underwear in the lobby waiting for the bathroom.

I Loved the amount of space, decor, the amount of bathrooms, the open lighting(sky lights), the atmosphere. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Were alway available and nice. I was happy with the area as well, the covience to the active bus routes and Melrose was a perfect street for sightseeing and food options

Great location. Room was large with lots of windows (light, air). Bed was very comfortable. Lots of bathrooms throughout the hostel. Everyone in our 6-bed women's dorm was quiet and respectful of the others.

Coffee in the morning was the worst I've ever tasted! No milk or creamer provided. The hostel host was usually never anywhere to be seen. No parking available; had to park too blocks away which was a little worrisome.

The facility itself is has an inspiring atmosphere with lots of interesting international travellers coming through.

I wasn't a fan of the general area or vicinity, but the awesome people at the hostel offset that.

Room situation is good. Private beds with curtain. Good vibe. Lots of plants so inviting environment. Coffee and toast available in morning. Bathrooms good. Best hostel I have stayed at.

Only complaint is no stove and just a tiny kitchenette. Do have hot plate but really no where to set it up without being in everyone's way. So essentially you can't cook.
