Location excellent. Grounds lovely with many flowers, outdoor sitting. There is a paved pedestrian and bike path just around the corner and off the main road where I have taken short walks. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Free parking! Very nice pool area although we did not use the pool. Breakfast used to be more substantial with healthier options. However we understand that everyone has had to cut back due to increased expenses and we really are not breakfast people anyway- happy with the coffee and apples. Plenty of places to eat near by and with a full kitchen it is easy to prepare breakfast as well.

This is a family-owned motel, a rare creature these days. The room was spacious with a large bathroom and shower attached. Although the address is on El-Camino Real, which is a busy street, the way the rooms are situated seems to shield them from street noise to a large degree. The outdoor pool was an extra bonus which we truly enjoyed.

My main complaint is the mattress, which was too soft for my taste. I woke up every morning with back pain. Also, there was no breakfast offered. It would have been nice to have at least some pastry and/or fruit in the morning.

The room was quiet, better than at many area hotels. The room was spacious and comfortably arranged, without an excess of decoration. The kitchen was large and well appointed, with dishes and cups and tableware all suitable for our dinner in the room. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Everything about the stay was good for us. Although the cost was high, it was lower than most other hotels in the area for the night we booked.

Really we have nothing to complain about; it was a good room at a reasonable price and just what we needed.

Parking was convient. Bed was very comfortable. It was high enough and firm. The kitchenette was a nice feature that added to the comfort and value.

I believe the address given for the site might be in error. My GPS took me to an unrelated bank parking lot about a 1/2 mile away from the property. I suggest, based on the GPS, that 4351 El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA might be a more accurate address. The shower was a bit small but adequate.

Clean, large/spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. A nice good-sized fully stocked kitchen with a table/chairs , refrigerator, oven so it felt very cozy. Great swimming pool. Comfortable beds. I like that it has parking and is close to both Stanford and the adorable downtown-Los Altos which has decorated shops and many choices for restaurants & bakeries. Accessible to El Camino and freeways as needed. Friendly staff, who came quickly to help with new fancy, air conditioner unit. Would stay again!

What a tranquil stay! The hotel grounds have a central garden and the setting was lovely. The room had a full kitchen and was very spacious. Was walking distance for meetings at Tesla following a nice trail system.

The bushes in front of the rooms could use a trim to improve the parking access?!? Small complaint:)

Amazing staff! I had a snafu with accidentally booking 2 rooms when I only needed one, and staff were incredibly nice about it. I also accidentally set the checkout date a day too early, and they were really helpful in accommodating me. They location was also very clean, and the cleaning staff were super detail oriented.

I had an early appointment at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto so I decided to drive up the night before. I couldn't have been happier with my selection of hotels. Country Inn Motel was excellent. The staff at the front desk was very polite, the room was clean, spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. I will for sure book this motel again.

Wish there was breakfast, but location to the VA is only 7 minutes. It's quiet and only 1 story, so no one can be heard walking or having sex on an upper floor.

Update on the lamps to have more outlets or usb plugs for chargers. I have to bring a cpap machine and plus my phone in and can't do it near each other with the outlets available to me.
