Very close to the Frost Amphitheater, close to restaurants and stores. The beds were super comfy! Our room had a sliding door that led to a garden patio, very pretty. Nice bathroom.

The only issue we had was that there was a trail of small ants. Not sure where it came from because there was no trail from the sliding door. Looked like it came from the baseboard. We didn’t have any food out that may have caused the ants to search. Not a deal breaker but I’ve never had that kind of issue before. Also, the shower only had a half glass pane so the water would come out of the shower a lot.

The staff were very nice and helpful and the property was very beautiful. Our room was very clean and comfortable and I especially appreciated having a microwave and refrigerator. Our balcony was directly next to the creek and it was wonderful to hear the rushing water. There was also a lovely, very large tree right next to the balcony with lots of wild life. Really a nice little oasis. There are not a lot of restaurants nearby, but there is a very good Brazilian steak house right next to the hotel. There is also a really wonderful Deli and small market also right next to the hotel. The closest Caltrain station is on California Avenue and is @ a 25 minute walk.

The Breakfast was only coffee and pastries and some cereal. If you have issues with sugar or carbs, there's not much to eat, however, the deli next door is open @8:00 and they have breakfast sandwiches that are very good! As we were there on a business trip, we inquired about renting a meeting room ( which they have several available) to have a meeting on site. The front desk was not able to help, but gave us emails and numbers to call. Unfortunately, NO ONE answered our requests by either email or phone. I found it a little shocking that they never even answered our email or called back, even to say if the rooms were available or not! For this reason, I would not recommend this hotel if you are visiting because of business. We ended up meeting in the hotel room.

Creekside Inn is a beautiful 3-star hotel with very nice and large rooms that also have balconies that turn into an incredible inner garden. It's located 15 minutes from Stanford University (by bicycle) and near a very nice and peaceful neighborhood. The room has (almost) everything one needs except maybe a kettle. The property also has a laundry room and a deli shop, which was very convenient.

I didn't like the following: 1. Room acoustics was not very good. I could hear my loud neighbors, and it was unpleasant. 2. The room didn't have a kettle. 3. The breakfast wasn't good.

The staff were kind—not overly friendly, but helpful when needed. A decent breakfast was included, and although I didn’t get to use them, there were a pool, gym, and laundry facilities (washer and dryer). The room had a microwave, and there was always coffee available in the lobby. Also, the bed was super comfortable—I slept like a baby.

One morning, I noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke while taking a shower. This wasn’t the hotel’s fault—it must have come from another guest. Just a reminder: if you’re going to smoke, please step outside!

My partner and I have stayed here many times in the past, but it has been a while since our last visit (about a year). It is still a lovely and peaceful property and exceptionally clean. The beds are super comfy and there is ample parking, and the property feels very safe.

In the past, I have always marveled at the exceptional customer service. This time, I was not impressed. The person who checked us in, while not rude, just seemed bored and indifferent. She did her job correctly and took all the right "steps" to check us in, but it wasn't a particularly welcoming experience. Also, there are amenities fees now, but it seems like some of the things that we liked most about the hotel are no longer available. Check out used to be at noon, but now it is at 11. We called to see if we could get a late check out and were told "we don't do that on weekends", which also hasn't been the case in the past. The hotel was not at full capacity and we were leaving on a Sunday morning, so a little flexibility would have been appreciated.

I am very impressed with the quality and value of Creekside Inn. I was in Room 222, a large king room with a balcony overlooking the creek. The room was clean, well-appointed, and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job preparing the room and cleaning it between nights. The Inn has some nice and unusual amenities, including free e-vehicle charging, and a purified water dispenser. It seems to be very well run. The value was exceptional.

I checked out on Sun Aug 18. At 9:30am that morning, while I was still in bed, housekeeping opened my door, presumably to clean the room. I don't blame housekeeping. Management should have instructed housekeeping not to clean the room until after I checked out.

I was very pleased with the garden and the quiet of the property. The room was spacious and clean. There was a learning curve to operate the tv( first world problem). There was a printer in the room for use if I were going to work. I really liked the separation of the bathroom from the living space and kitchen. Clearly there was some thought put into that. The kitchenette was a convenient feature. The room was clean and there were outdoor gathering areas. Plenty of free parking.

The kitchenette wasn't equipped other than a couple of margarita glasses and a toaster. Coffee maker had no decaf available. Morning continental breakfast had no decaf either. I was a little frustrated by the fact that my room wasn't ready when I got there even after we were told that it wouldn't be a problem over the phone. I paid the difference to upgrade to a suite. The suite was nice but I was still just a little frustrated

We liked how spacious the room was – it was great to have a room that could fit 5 easily. My impression of the bathroom was that it was clean enough but not very upgraded or new. The pool area was a little small, but the little grass area and big plants all around it created a really nice atmosphere. The location was super convenient, though not noisy, and parking was easy.

I found the front desk staff a bit young and not very professional, a little casual.

Such great attention to detail, besides being immaculate, every convenience was thought of, the built in body wash, shampoo and conditioenr for the shower, the built in lotion for the bathroom sink, the ease of operation of th TV and the many available channels, the easy to operate coffee machine machine., a corkscrew left on the table near the glasses.

Not a thing....this was our second time back and we'll be back again next year in August.

Have stayed here several times in the last few years, recently for a surgery at Stanford. In it's park like setting it is comfortable, quiet, and convenient. My favorite rooms have been in "The Tower" overlooking the pool. But, the pricing for the older section is much easier on the pocketbook, and definitely good enough.

The staircases are very hard to negotiate for an older adult, and the bathrooms in the last 2 rooms we have stayed are very small.
