The staff here are absolute sweethearts, sunny and kind. The room was large and exceptionally clean, and the bed was comfortable with a good mattress and plenty of pillows. All in all, what you need for a night sleeping away from home. There was a desk and a reasonably comfortable chair, plus a couple of chairs for sitting that I didn't try. The room included a small fridge and a microwave, but unfortunately no coffee making facilities. The shower was good with sufficient water flow and hot water.
Beyond that, the place is very basic and the exterior is run down, though everything essential is well maintained. Don't come here for the view of the other tier of rooms--you'll probably want to keep your curtains pulled. The parking is awkward, with tight stalls situated directly underneath the rooms. You might encounter some low-budget type revving their roaring monster truck for 20 minutes right below you. It's sad that $100 per night for one person is now "low budget" in motel terms but the people running this motel are doing their very best to make your stay a good one.

The GSI (as I now call it) was a very pleasant surprise: I was expecting a pretty run-down motel, but the room was spacious, clean and comfortable; the bed was cozy; and the staff was quite helpful and polite! Not too much noise from the street either, though I was in the back so it could be different for those up front. All in all, I'm a fan!
The parking lot was a bit tight/treacherous, and the walls/ceiling are fairly thin so I heard a lot of banging above me one morning...pretty minor complaints overall, though!

The location was perfect for the tasks at hand, easy access to bus, stops right in front, near access to main road arteries to drive in all directions. Room was large and clean and comfortable. There was a shower but no bath. The large TV was excellent . It had a small refrigerator and small microwave so you could bring back food and reheat. The management was extremely helpful and kind. Even arranged for the UBER to take me to the airport early AM. Many places to eat close by in walking distance. It had individual heating and air-conditioning unit in room. Sea gulls sang on the roof at daybreak!
I always like to have coffee first thing in the morning but this was not provided. Either in room or in lobby. But you can walk just down the road 10 minutes to McDonalds. There is a lot of noise from El Camino Real traffic but this added to the novelty of the stay, you get used to it. This is not a new Inn and could use a little painting here and there.

The room was so spacious and clean, honestly bigger than some apartments I’ve seen in the Bay Area. I was very glad to find a microwave, refrigerator, even a small kitchen sink. I was also impressed there was a balcony. Check-in was easy and the staff was nice and interacted with my kiddo who was dying for some attention after a long car ride.
The outside property is a little run down, very steep drop into the parking lot. The property was a little hard for my special needs child to navigate i.e. the steep driveway and the stairs to get to and from the room. The bed was a little too hard for me. Also, wasn’t able to figure out the A/C unit but the temperature was fine.

This is a nice place to stay. close to bus station if you care about it. I was there for about 3 weeks. They don’t serve food but there are several restaurants and a Starbucks close to this place. I had problem with WiFi and they provided me with a router in the room that changed my internet from 10 to 100. Staff were excellent and very professional. The room was very clean and room service was ~every 2-3 days.
There were a bit of noise from the neighbor car workshop in the morning time.

The room was very spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a private balcony. It was equipped with a desk, a pair of armchairs, microwave, mini-fridge and sink - almost like a small studio apt. The staff manager was very kind upon arrival and check-out. Fortunately there were no special needs, as everything was fine with the room.
There were no particular problems. The area is generally pricy, so this was a good deal compared to the surrounding accomodations, even though a bit costly being far from downtown Palo Alto and Stanford University (about 1 hr walk) and from Caltrain station (about 30 min walk). Bus service is not very frequent. I didn't like very much the shower fabric curtains, plastic would be better as they get wet. Also, a coat hanger would be useful during winter/rain season.

comfortable bed. big soft pillows (too bad if you like flat ones) smelled extremely clean. fridge and freezer actually works and there was a patio! Huge TV with all the channels. As a woman traveling solo with a baby, I felt safe. An eye mask and ear plugs are a great idea.
the outside light shines through the window enough to wake me up. Bring an Eye mask and ear plugs for a great nights sleep. Parking is as tight as it is in a European garage, meaning you better be a dang good driver in a small car to fit in a spot.

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. They were the nicest people I've ever met. Lee went out of his way to ask me every day how my husband was doing after his heart surgery. When I told him my stay would be longer than I had booked he blocked off a room for me... on a holiday weekend!!! I'm so glad and very very grateful to them for making a tough situation more comfortable and less stressful! I would highly recommend The Glass Slipper! Thank you Lee and Staff... I really appreciate you and all you do ❤❤❤
I have a Chevy Tahoe and the parking stalls are small but... they found me a spot 😉

The cleanliness of the room was great! In addition, they had a refrigerator and microwave available, which not many of the hotels at this price would have. I had a wonderful experience!

The room for 6 is huge. The staff were so nice, and immediately helped with any request. As they do not have a central coffee place, I got a coffee machine and supplies directly to my room.
The furniture looks a bit old.
