I had a wonderful stay. The staff, Damon, was a wonderful Host !! He went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, and that I was comfortable. He seemed to be thinking 3 steps ahead of me!! A great stay !! The Pods were a fun sleeping space. They were more spacious than the bunkbed area you get at most Hostels. Everything I needed was there at the facility - iron, ironing board, hair dryer, you name it! The "community" area was smaller than at Hostels, but it was cute, cozy, and functional. I'll be going back there again real soon !! THANKS !!

The location was excellent. The space was clean and more comfortable that I was expecting (my first time ever staying in a hostile).

Had a little trouble with the entry door to begin with (the handle goes the opposite way to open). The shower water took a long while to heat up. I didn’t know I should have bought my own towel. The Wi-Fi (if any) was nonexistent.

Podshare is my regular go to hostel when visiting San Diego. There are other hostels nearby but I like this one for location and ease of access to my favorite coffee shops and the San Diego Trolley.

The shower door room lock by the front entrance is broken. The big outlet below the community computer does not work.

That they give us 2 pillows! With the thickish mattress, and 2 pillows = SO COMFORTABLE

They have a lot of fans, but it still tends to be hot inside there. I bring my own fan with me each time! With the fan blowing right on my face, the temperature is ok !!

Everything was normal and in good condition. The space and location are excellent. It is a fair and viable alternative.

I was expecting they would change the beds (sheet, blanket) every day.

The staff was really helpful! My flights got rearranged and I ended up getting in after-hours. They made sure I knew exactly what to expect and exactly how to enter the location since it would be locked. The location itself, is a really cool layout. It's got everything you need and the people who stay there are really friendly! The beds provide a certain level of privacy but it's pretty open otherwise. Mine was very comfortable but the pillows left something to be desired. There was ample storage as well. The bathroom was clean enough, there are quite a few people sharing it so it's clean all things considered. I felt save and comfortable!

I had requested a towel, but due to me coming in late and leaving early every day, I was unable to follow through with it and never got one. Thankfully I had a small one of my own. They were apologetic and made sure I would not be charged for one. The common area did get dirty quickly but it wasn't a problem really.

The staff the day that I was there was wonderful. It was a great community of people staying there and was nice to be so close to the farmers market and the water and good restaurants:)

At night I overheard a staff member talking to a customer which was a little bit difficult to sleep through

Staff was great. Friendly and professional. The location was in a great location close to restaurants and bars and public transit.

The staff is very friendly and do their best to help. The beds and sofas are very comfortable. A quiet place to relax and work at the same time or to explore the wonderful place little italy and indulge in culinary delights.

Very unusual hostel: there is one large common room. Guests sleep like in the pods. Beautiful design. Concrete walls may seem creepy but it went okay. Very friendly & helpful staff.

If there is noise in common area, everyone will hear. Some places to sleep are too exposed to every one sitting in the common area. Reception not 24/7, only like from 10AM
