Very clean and spacious room in an old California style. Rooms are arranged around a very attractive, large courtyard full of confined olive trees with a fountain in the middle. Comfortable bed and excellent bathroom (especially the shower). Staff was very good, I certainly appreciated the hospitable welcome. Breakfast offered a broad selection of choices; coffee was good. Roomy spaces for parking and very convenient to room. Would most definitely stay there again.

The room was dark and could use better lighting.

We came here on New Years Eve to get our dog away from the fireworks. The hotel has a really nice courtyard and big comfortable rooms. It's a short walk to downtown, where you can visit the Mission or find lots of great restaurants and antique shops. We missed the included breakfast, but it looked good.

The hotel is located across Highway 156 from the main part of town. it has a signal, so crossing isn't too bad, but it's not great to cross on foot. On the other hand, it seems silly to take a car 2 blocks to go into town.

We liked how large and open the room was and it was comfortable. There were lots of TV channels and the breakfast had eggs, sausages, bagels. The property is beautiful with vineyards and at night the trees were lit up in the courtyard.

You can walk to town, but we chose to drive because you have to cross the freeway. The property wasn’t busy, but they put people in the room right next to us and we could hear them talking late at night.

The romantic atmosphere was on point! We arrived at night when all the trees where lit up and it looked magical! The room was spotless and clean and very large size with new flooring. There was a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, iphone clock to charge phone, a safe, iron/iron board, hairdryer, tv, dressers, and an extra desk! (Free wifi) The staff is super nice and kind and it appeared that they were genuinely happy to help us. They are all top notch professionals here!

I didn't like that we had to leave. 3 days is not enough to explore the local areas and town. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent front desk person, a delight! The full breakfast was surprisingly good AND WAS AVAILABLE AT 6 AM. I always have to be on site by 7 AM or so, and most places do not accommodate early risers. The room was nice, well-designed, with a large shower, and comfortable. Good pillows. Lots of parking near all rooms.

Lack of USB ports for charging (luckily, I always bring a power block)

Very nice property! Rooms were large and clean. Ammenities were plenty. Bed was comfortable. And breakfast included eggs, potatoes, bacon, pancakes and coffee. We were vendors at the San Juan Batista Craft fair and the hotel was in walking distance.

Not the fault of the hotel staff, but there was a barking dog left by himself in the room next to us that kept us awake.

We arrived at Hacienda de Leal it is such a beautiful place we got there late in the evening so all these beautiful lightning welcomed us in.They have these giant LOVE letters that just made me and my husband look at each other and hug.The place was quiet clean and Beautiful! THEY ALSO HAVE drinks and snacks at the lobby and free breakfast which is pretty good to enjoy! Customer service was perfect! She told us what restaurant where close by and the activities of the town.

The breakfast was yummy! I liked that it was different everyday! The staff was very polite and courteous! The beds and pillows were very comfy!

There were some dust bunnies throughout the room. There was also mold in the bathroom ceiling but I think that's because the windows aren't opened by the customers during shower time.

Very close to the cute little town of San Jaun Bautista... within walking distance if you choose to walk. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we loved that the landscaping of the hotel included grape vines (the owner of the hotel also owns Leal Vineyards in nearby Hollister, CA). We enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting of Leal Vineyards wine. The outside courtyard was not being utilized at the time of our stay, so there were no tables and chairs. It was quite cool during our stay, so that was ok. Would be a great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine during the warmer months. Breakfast included pastries, oatmeal, coffee... the basics to get our day started. Overall, very happy with our stay.

The setting was full of character, beautifully laid out. We wished we'd stayed longer to have a chance to enjoy it more. All the staff were friendly and professional. The rooms are tastefully decorated and offered a good selection of hot beverages. A fantastic little find, and a perfect place to stay if you're exploring the local area. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We look forward to hopefully staying with you again in the future.
