The locations of the Lexen is so perfect for the out of town guest, who could miss a whole corner like that. Perfect! And it didn't end on the corner inside this beautiful building the staff was very courteous and kind, helpful and I use a medical scooter so I see people lose their patience with me, but not there the late night staff was very patient with me I didn't feel rushed or looked over not one bit. So with that I do applaud the management there cause they for sure have the right people in their rightful positions. I mean I could really go on about this place because it makes all the difference in how you enjoy your vacations, I know I enjoyed my weekend away from home so much because they made me feel home still. The only one thing they didnt have and it's no deal breaker is a disability shower chair. I might just donate one so nobody else can say they didn't have one. A Gem of a place everyone. Go stay for yourselves and get that PEACE OF MIND that we all need in these Trumped up times!

Great location, very clean and very comfortable beds. Nice to have covered parking included and in a parking garage for safety.

The breakfast was not available the first morning d/t power outage, limited choices d/t food allergies. Would be nice to have fruit options, yogurt. No smoking signs posted but when walking out of the entry several times hotel guests were smoking right at the entry. Some how needs to be addressed when happening for the safety of other patrons, especially those with health conditions.

Historic Building remodeled with every up to date feature and energy saving device available! All the amenities, top of the line toiletries. Decor is Historic Newhall/ Kitschy Western with a pop of retro 70’s color and texture and patterns in the soft furniture. Roof top bar, exercise room, 24 hour coffee machine that makes fancy drinks and chocolate caliente with a hint of cinnamon plus 4 kinds of juices all free and flowing for guests. Light but lovely small bites to send you on your way in the morning. Bed was perfect! Slept like a log! ( And that is saying a lot for an insomniac plus someone with a very bad back/ neck who bed means “ painful “. Can I just be the resident “ live in greeter or Hospitality Hostess”? Then I could stay forever🙏. A really great remodel and at a reasonable price considering it’s very near 6 Flags Magic Mountain and all the other chain hotels have doubled to quadrupled their “ summer rates” especially near beaches recreation spots and parks.

Not a single thing.

The room was bigger than expected! The beds are super comfortable and we didn't expected to have a mini fridge and a microwave on the room. The bathroom is spacious and very well lit (in case you have to put on make up like I did haha). The staff is super friendly and the breakfast includes some hot options like breakfast burritos, mini corndogs and hash browns. The location is amazing as well, we were able to walk to main street for dinner and a few drinks and then walk back to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was very nice. A really nice variety of items to choose from. The sweet rolls were very fresh, and the coffee was great! Love the Latte machine. And a nice variety of juices to choose from. And the environmentally friendly toilet was very cool! It was right in the heart of downtown Newhall and was easy to access.

The shower needs a grab bar, the edges of the bed were very sharp (maybe wrap them) and the TV was very unfriendly to negotiate. The channel guide was not easy to find, and the channel selection was very slow and cumbersome.

hotel and room decor was unique and space was ample...microwave in room was a plus! my son lived on that for midnight snack...instant noodle and ramen at the reception area was a great plus and so was the 24 hr coffee/cappucino machine at the reception area! Sheets and bed were comfy and plush....

wifi was very weak and not working half the time...that was a problem... hotel reception area could use fresh greenery and flowers...this should be a given in California!

Awesome people at the counter. Checking was easy and seamless. I checked in on the night of 7/31 and the guy that checked us in was very helpful and polite. He even helped us with a parking issue. Great customer service which I am not finding lately. The room was very clean. The bed was nice. Air conditioner was nice and cold. Breakfast snacks were just enough for me. There was a fridge AND microwave. Location was great. I even left items in the room and they were held for me. I will definitely be back.

The hotel is modern and easy to reach. At check-in, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very large. Modest complimentary breakfast, but since they don't charge extra and don't advertise it as "included" in the room rate, it's a pleasant surprise. Parking was free, even though the description here said there was a fee.

The hotel is located near a busy street and railway (trains passing in the middle of the night would sound their horn for 5-45 seconds), so it was not easy to sleep through. The typically American heating system, that is present in most hotels, is very loud. The complimentary breakfast was loaded almost exclusively with high-sugar snacks.

The hotel is in a good location, it has covered parking which was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and no noise, so it was good. The only downside was the bed, the bed even though is advertised as queen, I felt that it was smaller than a queen size. So the bed was the only downside for me. Overall good.

The beds, the size wasn't what I expected, I felt that it was not a full queen size, which is what it was advertised. However, everything else was good.

i liked pretty much everything and the staff was really great!

a few minor things with the room: 1- the floors made irritating clunking-loose-board noises 2- only one place to hang one towel... and it was used by the robe/hanger 3- we had 2 people and only one robe and pair of slippers 4 my guest would have liked more variety of hot tea for breakfast
