We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Montrose! The hot tub and pool were wonderful and the breakfast was great. The front desk staff were all amazing! Taylor S. and possibly Brandon helped my husband to get a shuttle when our car broke down in Telluride. They also helped our friends who were also stranded from car issues on their honeymoon. Our new friends were not staying at the holiday inn and they still helped them. One of the employees made sure they got home ok since there were no Lyft drivers. This kindness was beyond what anyone could ask for and we appreciate staying at a hotel where they take of everyone.

Breakfast was very good. Jamie did a fantastic job keeping the food warm and on hand. VERY nice person! Tay at the front desk was very nice and pleasurable. All staff were very helpful.

I had asked for a handicapped room. There wasn't a safety bar in the shower or by the toilet. Because I have mobility issues and have to ride a scooter to and from the car and to my room.....I didn't feel safe. When sitting down past a certain height I cannot get up and will fall.

I would have to say that the entire staff ( Especially the front desk ) went above and beyond expectations. We accidently left a few items in the room and the staff promptly called us about our overlook. They were happy to mail those items to us, as we were many miles away at that time. We have never been treated better by a Host. Give them ALL raises! Thanks!!

The only item that was 1/2 star from a 10 Star rating was the breakfast was week. Maybe we were too early? 7:00 AM. Just cinnamon rolls, a pancake maker, and coffee. Maybe improvement is already in plans. My only negative comment in a totally wonderful place to stay. This will not stop me from coming back, Thanks!

The staff was friendly and helpful in working around construction. I was grateful they were thoughtful and had rooms at the end of the hallway. I can see the building and amenities will be great when done. Montrose was a nice town with nice people, we used Montrose as our base for a Black Canyon NP visit. Would stay again if we return.

I've been staying at this hotel since it opened in the early 1990's. The staff at the Holiday Inn Montrose has always been superb.

The hotel is somewhat dated, but the staff has kept the property clean and well run. The big short coming is the lack of upkeep of the hot tubs and the pool area. Please invest in bringing the pool and hot tubs up to acceptable standards.

Brandon at front desk was very helpful! Needed to check little early to get ready for wedding and he made it happen.

We just weren’t at facility very long other than to sleep but room had weird odor.

The breakfast was fine, considering that the kitchen was being renovated! The food was good and the staff was pleasant to talk with. Everyone had made the best of a difficult situation.

The staff was very nice, desk was very helpful with the gym noise. Hotel was full, and we could not change rooms. We had a nice stay

Our room was above the gym, treadmill could be heard and felt through the third floor, talked with the desk and after guest had used it, the front desk had it turned off. Very nice, and greatful.

The room was clean, and a good size. It was very close to the Black Canyon National Park, which was convenient.

It was on the pricier side for a standard hotel room, but that being said I was happy with it overall.

Our stay here was very pleasant on all levels. The location is perfect. Next door to Safeway store and a car wash. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. Staff friendly and professional.
