The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have the free shuttle from and to the airport. The location is fantastic being just across the road from the ski lifts and restaurants. Also only a quick walk to the free buses that go around town and to Aspen. The hotel had a nice updated lobby, restaurant/bar lounge area with a fireplace in the middle.

The room did not have a coffee maker and there were only two glass coffee mugs in the room and no other cups whatsoever. The furnishings in the room were definitely older, which was fine considering the price.

Location of this hotel is great. Literally steps from the slopes. It was built in the 70s or early 80s, but has been updated since then. The bones of the hotel and the rooms are of that era. Remember bathrooms with the ceiling heat lamp? They've got those, and not on a timer. Honestly, who didn't love the heat lamp in the bathroom? There's a bar in the lobby, good place to hang out, but you cannot sit in that area in the morning, or at least not until 10 when the bar opens. This should be tweaked. Front desk staff is sparse, but they were very accommodating when at the desk. You are a very short walk from the Snowmass Mall, where you have every ski shop, lots of dining options, and the bus station is a 3 min walk away for trips to Aspen or the other resorts. Absolutely a great deal for location for skiing. If you are coming to see and be seen, pay the extra money and stay elsewhere. The wildwood is not a 5, certainly doesn't deserve a 3. Less rustic than the Hostel at Jackson Hole, less community than the Peruvian at Alta. If you are here to ski all day, eat dinner and sleep until the next day of skiing, can't be beat. Free shuttle to and from airport as part of the resort fee.

All the atmosphere created in Snowmass. - the music. - the smores - the free coffee at the lift. - the staff - the fire pits - the ice skating No expense spared to make the guests stay enjoyable.

Again, the food options. The village needs improvement. The limited shop meant that unlike in vail, where we walked the streets at night. In there was really nowhere to go so we unexpectedly spent slot of the time in our room. - it needs more shops, - and more restaurants

The suites are very large (for snowmass) and were comfortable. Great location for skiing/village access and quality hot tub.

Probably understaffed/process issues (given the price paid). Room missing sheets/pillows/comforter for sleeper sofa which was resolved by friendly late night security guard.

Location.

Nothing. There have been great improvements made since my stay last year. Especially cool mist humidifier in room. Game changer. My room was always 74 degrees even with thermostat turned down to 62. Fortunately, I prefer warmer rooms.

But still have 1or 2 reception not really know that area well. And The airport pick up instructions not very clear, and my pick up instructions email don't have contact #, I couldn't contact pick up driver directly, and I end up waiting airport more than 45 mins.

Elevator by our room was not working. Bed was very uncomfortable. Had to call for instructions on finding ice machine. No one was physically at the tiny front desk most of the times we went by, including key drop (was a little nervous leaving our card keys in a vacant area during check-out and was not able to get a printed copy of bill?)

Cost, location, balcony and free parking.

The rooms facing the street were loud all night with truck deliveries, loud people walking, etc. We had to keep the door open all night to cool the place down since there is no ventilation in the rooms. Bathrooms at least should have a little fan in them.

Loved the price and the room was exceptional. Loved having a balcony and was not expecting that at all so it was a nice and beautiful surprise. Very nice location and facility. Will definitely stay here again.

We only stayed 1 night and arrived late, so the only thing I would change is that as I would have liked to have enjoyed some of the other perks of the facility like the hot tub, pool, restaurant.

proximity to mall and lifts. also I paid for a room with a view, it my view was of the pool and other buildings. same view I have had for lower price.

room definitely shabby. No bulb in heat lamp in bathroom. made no attempt to remediate as I found the staff to have very little command of English. getting tissues and a wastebasket for the room was interesting.
