Truly happy to find this gem. My family had a wonderful stay. We chose the Comfort Inn to be able to be close to NYC and drive daily to Western Massachusetts. The hotel is currently under renovations. Very kind and courteous staff. The room is absolutely clean and smells brand new. Breakfast is very nice with plenty of options. Hot Coffee, Bagels, Pastry, Waffles, Eggs, Sausages or Bacon, Oatmeal, Cereal, Fruits. The area is beautiful as well. The nature scenery. For food in Danbury, don’t miss the Brazilian cheese bread bakery and São Paulo’s Steak House nearby! We are definitely going back to this hotel while we are in the area!

The eggs, could improve, however there are plenty of other options. Also, the waffle non-stick spray, could be great if they could replace it with a natural option. These are two minor things, this hotel is a 10 out of 10!

The breakfast was delicious and you had your choice of where to sit. There was a restaurant right downstairs if you didn't want to leave the hotel and everything else was at walking distance. The staff always greeted you with a smile and just as you walked to the elevator, you had your choice of water, tea or coffee. Who does that? The beautiful lady at the front desk was the nicest, kindest, sympathetic person I have met in CT. Just for her, I would stay again.

The one thing that disturbed me a bit was the housekeeper knocking at 9:30am. I had requested a late check in for 12 and I had just returned an hour earlier from breakfast. I was trying to get in my last z's before I thought the knock was a dream. Then another returned at 11am, I guess wanting to clean if we left at 11. Precisely 12pm there was a knock on the door once again to clean the room. Even though we had an amazing stay, I felt rushed out.

Kim greeted us warmly when we arrived and gave us a coupon for a local restaurant-free appetizer. The room and hotel over all were clean quiet and brightly lit. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The only things we would have changed is more counter space in the bathroom and the price for the room was a little high. We didn’t have the breakfast. Went to our favorite restaurant instead- Elmer’s Diner.

I liked how it was close by to restaurants and how it was not to far from Lime Rock park.

The one complaint that I have was I got a phone call from the hotel phone at 5:00 AM telling me to check out at 1:00 PM when clearly it was 11:00. So I waited till the when I got a call asking if I was staying another night and I told them what had happened. Hopefully they took care of the situation and hopefully it doesn’t happen again

My wife enjoyed the breakfast. She had eggs and sausage. I was disappointed with the oatmeal. When I first went up the pot was basically empty. I told the attendant and she brought the pot back out and asked me to wait five minutes. When I did so, there was still very little oatmeal, and it was extremely soupy. However, the coffee was excellent, and the fruit was fresh.

As I previously mentioned, the oatmeal was not satisfactory. Also the bathroom faucet sprayed straight down or even slightly towards the back, so it was difficult to use. If the faucet was longer it would have been fine.

The breakfast was good. The staff was very nice. The hotel was clean. I liked that there was a restaurant attached to the lobby.

The setup of the breakfast can be better situated. The setup doesnt flow easily. The plates were situated in the corner, above the muffins. People waiting for their toast or selecting muffins made it impossible to actually obtain a plate. There was no shower soap in the dispenser upon arrival. The shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser was not actually installed on the wall, just set on the counter. Toilet rocked when sat on. The elevator broke down but luckily was working the next day.

Staff were superb, especially Kim Paparo (the front office manager). She went out of her way to make us feel very special and all the staff we met were very friendly and considerate. The breakfast was way better than we’d been expecting and the guest laundry made life very easy for us.

Our only very minor comment is that there was no safe in the room but everything else we could want was provided and included.

Our stay was lovely. When we arrived we were pleasantly greeted by the front desk mgr. Kim. Kim could not have been any nicer or more welcoming. She recommended the Black Angus which ate at and was kind enough to upgrade out room. We were in town to honor my mother who recently passed over the holidays and came in town from Massachusetts. Kim's over and above hospitality really took the edge off the sadness of our visit. Thank You Kim and to the staff at the Comfort Inn.

Clean, tidy and spacious room. Staff really helpful and friendly. Good breakfast options.

Bathroom configuration. Despite hotel looking like it has had a refurbishment the bathroom hadn't. Sink had a large crack and bath dated with rust around plug and taps.

Wonderful accomodation. Great location. Everything we needed. Lovely ammenities. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was wonderful and delicious. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Breakfast was okay. There was some construction but they never started too early for us.
