Staying at Meadow house was a unique and unforgettable experience. The owner Terry, who was extreamly friendly and welcoming has several antique stores and the house feels like one itself, full of all sorts of interesting artifacts. We were alone in the house and had it to ourselves, which was awesome. Family pictures and mementos were everywhere and made us feel like we became part of the family ourselves. The two superfiendly and well behaved cats roaming around made us feel even more at home. Everything in the house is connected with the nearby Lime Rock race track and car racing, which Terry seems to be intimately involved with. So, if you have interest in that, you're in luck there. Lastly, there were a ton of snacks of all sorts that Terry has generously provided.

As much as we liked it, staying in a place that's like an antique store might not be for everyone. Especially if you don't like cats.

Terry had an amazing variety of snacks and breakfast bars laid out for use, as well as a nice Keurig setup to make your own ideal cup of coffee. She helped explain how the house worked, and was a gracious host. The location is unbeatable for access to nature, hikes, and of course, Lime Rock Park. House is quiet and peaceful. Quite pleasant and easy!

Only concern would be for those that are allergic to cats - there are a few resident cats in the house, and while exceedingly friendly and cute, those that are allergic should be aware. Not an actual issue, but something to note.

It was very comfortable and quiet. The Lime Rock race track was across the road, but really couldn't hear it inside the room. The house cats, Jagger and Simon were great, always checking on us. There were no other guests staying at the same time, so we had full use of the shared bathroom, but it was a decent size, so my husband and I were able to both get ready for a friend's wedding at the same time. Bed was very comfortable and the home was very inviting and the scenery couldn't be more spectacular, wish we were going to be there in a month when the leaves change.

The Host,Terry, provides great communication and was very responsive to my questions before arriving and after. This home is cozy and inviting.Really comfortable and clean. Snacks, fruit,adult beverages and other items are available at no charge.I was at Lime Rock for the day and literally could have walked a few steps and been in the park.Driveway was great for parking and included at no extra charge.My dog got to stay with me and it was perfectly dog friendly. There are many great local restaurants close by that offer good reasonably priced food. I have been birdwatching for many years and I got to see and hear (using Merlin app) 27 different birds in just a 7 minute walk around the property this morning.That was just amazing! Last night, fireflies lit up the yard. It was magical! There are two very friendly cats!

Kitties Jagger and Simon were fluffy, adorable, lovey, welcoming and perfect. Kept us company throughout the stay which helped to not miss my boys so bad. Miss Terry was kind, calm and awesome. Super cool lady. House was cozy and cottage like with a great firepit where we, Miss Terry & friend and the 2nd set of guests really hit it off chatting, laughing and having an all around good time. Location was incredible for the event. Literally across the street. Breakfast was basic regarding food but there was coffee and that's what counts!!!

I was frustrated WITH MYSELF for not bringing slip on shoes since "shoes off" is a very valid requirement. Totally acceptable and no issues as all with the need to take them off just a note to others to bring slip on's.

It is an interesting house with lots of things to see.

The kids loved the cats, but for anyone allergic to cats it could be a problem. There's quite a lot of stuff about. If you're worried that your kids will break that stuff, you might worry. For us, though, our kids were good for once and it wasn't a problem and they liked the singing fish and other stuff.

Historic, beautiful, and memorable property at Lime Rock. The bunkhouse had all the essentials for our group including snacks, hot & cold beverages, 2 friendly cats, and a backyard with everything we needed to have memorable evenings after events at the track. Terry was a great and accommodating host and we'd be honored to stay again in the future!

Great location if you're going to race! It's right across the street. The owner of the house is extremely friendly. It almost felt like I was visiting my moms house. She lives there so it's like you are going to stay in a room at your family's house. She makes you feel at home. Make sure you have that expecation.

Amazing location directly across the road from Lime Rock Park. Our bunk room was perfect for my family of four plus grand-puppy, “Miles.” Terry is a wonderful host. We loved hearing her stories of experiences in the racing world! The hot tub and fire pit were a welcome respite after a long day at the track.

Proximity to our event couldn’t be better ! Cozy and easy access. And the mattress was so soft!

Parking was a bit challenging for so many cars for our group, but we worked it out well! We had a lot of gear so the abundant house decorations were a bit challenging to maneuver around. Still very homey.
