The room was very spacious and comfortable with a coffee maker, microwave oven and refrigerator. The bathroom was equally comforting with quality products. Breakfast was just a little more than average but acceptable. The hotel is located very close to the Fort Lauderdale airport and it only takes a few minutes to get there by the shuttle provided by the hotel. Excellent and punctual service. A hotel to consider if you need to be close to the FLL.

The spacious room Breakfast included Large refillable/sustainable toiletries in bathroom.

No complementary shuttle to the Cruise Port;only to the airport. Single use plastics and polystyrene plates at breakfast...not pleasant to use and certainly not environmentally friendly.

I wish the hotel offered at least some plant based diet options for breakfast like non dairy milk. The breakfast bar was filled with many options but I could only eat a banana and an apple. The morning staff was extremely nice and so was the shuttle bus driver.

I wasn’t aware or told when I booked the room that I needed to reserve the airport shuttle before hand so I had to catch a taxi to the hotel after trying to call twice to reserve the shuttle (after the airport information booth staff told me I had to) and the person in the line, after putting me on hold for a long time, hung up on me both times. That was very upsetting at 11 pm.

Ms Alexia at the front desk at checkout was extremely excellent, she apologized for something that she didn't do, something with the gentleman that I spoke on the phone because of 1 of the most rude front desk Edwin did earlier while I was at airport trying 2 arranged for shuttle bus to the hotel

A front desk employee that I didn't get the name to until I checked in, Edwin isn't working and representing the hotel's name respectfully. He transferred me twice to the IHG reservation center to confirm my reservation by: 1 saying that booking.com confirmation # doesn't come or shows up to their system, 2 he never spelled or asked me the spelling of name which isn't american like the gentleman on the phone did and find my reservation and then called him and told him that I did have a reservation, and asked me if I didn't mind him, the gentleman on the phone transferred me to the front desk employee who earlier twice refused to give me his name on the phone to arrange the shuttle. I told him that I wouldn't mind bcz I will be talking to him anyway during the check in process.

The room was very clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and efficient. The location was convenient to the airport and in a safe area.

We were coming to the hotel from the Fort Lauderdale airport. We called for the shuttle, but when it arrived much later than expected, it was full. We had to wait for the next shuttle, which we were told would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. It was another 40 minutes before it finally arrived. In all, it took us over a hour to get the shuttle to the hotel. We scheduled the shuttle back to the airport in the morning. The shuttle driver was excellent (I wish I could remember her name) and everything ran as it should. Some of the items on the breakfast buffet were cold.

Great location, friendly staff (Genesis was exceptional), loved the free shuttle. Breakfast was good.

Close to port which made it very convenient for us the next day.

We called for the shuttle and the first driver stated he did not go to that holiday inn. The second shuttle told us that he was there for us but on the trip to the hotel he was told that we were not the ones he was suppose to pick up and they wanted him to take us back to the airport. Thankfully he refused that request and took us to the hotel anyway which we were very thankful for him. He told us there were 5 holiday inns in a short radius and I feel they should know which one we were calling about and where it is. Not very impressed with hotel shuttle, again the driver was great.

All of that (breakfast, room, etc) was quite fine but the "exceptional" qualification must go to the two women on check-in and on check-out. Their level-headedness, responsiveness, sense of care AND humor were what made my overnight stay exceptional. To be treated in such a way is what makes a hotel-stay fun. To be greeted by a "grump" who makes you feel like you are an inconvenience and a 'bother' immediately sours the stay. Kudos to the two women who were both gracious and kind. everything was fine!

The staff were all helpful and friendly. Plus a good breakfast. The lady kept the food coming, the trash empty and the coffee hot!!

The 2 restaurants we chose (off a list of walking distance) sucked. I was disappointed that there was not at least a café in site. One actual problem was the lack of hard copy TV station guide. After finally getting back to a room, no one wants to have to go click, click on the remote, just to locate a station. A hard copy to just scan over is so much quicker.

Staff was very helpful in getting a pouch with very important documents out of the safe and were able to give it to friends who mailed it to me in California. Overall a very nice hotel, and convenient for us traveling to FLL airport and cruise port.

Some minor issues, i.e. drawer with a broken handle, toilet looks a bit worn out, need to be thoroughly cleansed or replaced, water pressure was poor. Area is a bit rundown, paying for parking was a surprise and I would say it reflects negatively on staying there again.
