Excellent Location

Bathroom could use some work. Weird / old smell when you first walk in room.

Staff are great, Cesar and the Argentinian were amazing! 100% customer service! 2 blocks from the beach and close to a variety to restaurants. 3 pools with BBQ which we used 1 and threw some ribs, chicken and corn cobs. Room are clean, enough towels, own kitchen, rooms are pretty spacious. Only thing is that the air conditioner does not get the room enough cold, but other than that everything was amazing! Definitely coming again 😀

Air confitioner, doesn't get the room cold

I reserved a Queen Deluxe room which was very large with kitchenette including microwave and cooktop. Room was very pleasant upon arrival and there are three pools in this Tranquilo property. There is another separate Tranquilo building across the street. Beds were good and the location of the hotel is quite convenient to beach and local bakery/lunch spots. I would recommend Tranquilo

Door deadbolt was broken though the door locked fine. I reported it.

The location was perfect, there were plenty of things in walking distance including food, coffee, and the beach! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place itself was a good size and the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in.

The cleanliness of the room could have been better, as there was some hair on the floor and on the sheets. It was definitely an older property and could use some updating in the rooms.

I do not have any bad things to say about my stay at Tranquilo. I am born and raised in Fort Lauderdale and I can’t believe I’m just now discovering this little gem. Perfect for a family staycation. The rooms were extremely clean, a ton of space, and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Plus, the staff were so so nice!! I’m already booking my next time trip back for December.

Nothing that bad— only thing is, the booking said we were going to get two queen beds in our room. Upon checking in, our room had one full size bed and one king size bed.

It is a simple accommodation with nothing fancy. This is what made it so relaxing. The property next to the Bonnet House makes it tranquil which is exactly what I needed. And. At the same time I could walk to the beach two blocks away. Best deal in town! I love Tranquilo.

The pool was amazing, and the room was very clean upon arrival. The AC was always blasting and there was a full kitchen which was amazing as we were trying to save money from going out! We forgot our key card one night and a night staff member was with us within 2 minutes. Very nice staff and great experience.

The water was a little hot but other than that we have zero complaints.

The location was good. It was a short walk to the beach. Also enjoyed the pool options and being able to go to other hotels nearby.

Shower was either too hot or too cold.

Javier and Guillermo, soooo helpful both of them. They had our room early so you can imagine how good was this with a toddler. So kudos to them. Last, the cherry of the cake. They lent us some beach chairs, since the hotel is exactly located 2 blocks away from the beach, that was the top !

We loved the location near restaurants and the beach! It couldn't have been better! The pool/ courtyards are are real beach bungalow throwback which feel really nice!

We were a bit overwhelmed by the heavy air freshening fragrance used in the room. We had to open the door to relieve the intensity as it aired out. The room was very plain (white) and the bathroom was very cramped and really could use a good remodeling as the sink cabinet was really tiny and low with no room to put any bathroom supplies on. The shower, likewise, had no shelves to put out soaps and shampoos, etc. They had to be put on the floor in the shower to be used. Also, at 1:30 am the smoke alarm started chirping ...AARGH! The maintenance staff got there quickly and were really great guys ... although, it would have been better if they would have brought a pizza for the disturbance!
