Location was great lots of stores n food in walking distance breakfast was ok until I found a cockroach on my breakfast tray in the room 😡

The cockroach really upset me probably never stay there again

The hotel is value for money. It had a kitchen. The only thing missing is a stove. However, that's not a big since restaurant and other food options are close by. Ocean drive is only a very short walk for the hotel. You can literally see ocean drive from the traffic lights . The overall stay was great. Housekeeping was great,I came back to a clean room every day. Reminds me of how hotels were before covid.

please consider up grading the towels for sure. Very paper thin and small. The Break-fast needs a protein option at least some eggs even if protein is only offered on some morning. Pay more attention to the fruit selection . Very small issues. But something that I thought would add the extra touch to a perfect location.

After spending several hours researching a hotel with good value, close to the beach and restaurants, Ocean Reef seemed like the best option — so I booked it. From the moment I made the reservation until our checkout, everything was perfect! When we arrived, I was a bit worried about the street noise — bars, music, and crowds — but all of that stays outside! The hotel is truly family-friendly. We stayed in a studio, which had plenty of space for a couple and our 7-year-old daughter. The kitchen was well-equipped with a mini fridge, utensils, toaster, and dining table. The only thing I missed was a coffee maker, but it makes sense since they offer free 24-hour coffee in the lobby. The room was spotless! I like walking barefoot, and I can say it was super clean. The only things that could be improved are the A/C, which works well but is quite loud, and the bathroom lighting, which could be better. Other than that, it’s a 10 out of 10. Breakfast is simple but enough: a variety of sweet breads, toast, cereal, yogurt, waffles, bananas, and apples. Now here’s the game-changer — what made me book this place: they offer **two free beach loungers**. That made a big difference for me, especially with a child, since we’re already carrying so much. You only pay for the umbrella (\$20/day). Absolutely perfect. Note: the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, like most places in Miami, so prepare for that. We paid \$80 for two nights, but the parking lot was just across the street — super convenient. Congrats to the Ocean Reef team — I definitely recommend it and will be back!

The suite is neat, clean, cozy and comfy. I had a great trip and when there was a hiccup- I am glad I chose Ocean Reef, the staff has such a positive attitude. There are quite a bit of amenities that other places don't offer. Life happens to us all but their customer service is superior to none! There's a restaurant out front with smiling staff & great smelling food! You will be glad you stayed here.

Never leave your belongings out of eye sight when you're at the beach. I'd hate for this to happen to someone else. It was the first time it happened to me although I've been to SB year after year. What could've been a horrible experience was made bearable by the kind and empathetic staff at The Ocean Reef Suites. I pray they also have someone be as nice & helpful to them when needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Ocean Reef Suites hotel in Miami, and our experience was beyond our expectations. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist, who was extremely friendly and professional. What's more, we had the pleasant surprise of being upgraded, which was a particularly appreciated gesture and really marked our stay. Our room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring peaceful, restful nights after busy days exploring the city. The room facilities were just right for our needs, and the daily housekeeping was outstanding. The hotel's location is perfect for those who want to discover Miami without worrying about long commutes. Centrally located, it's close to all points of interest: within walking distance of the beaches, surrounded by numerous restaurants and stores, and very well served by public transport. This central location enabled us to make the most of our stay without wasting time traveling. We highly recommend the Ocean Reef Suites for its friendly staff, comfortable rooms and exceptional location. The only downside is that breakfast could be more varied. The offer is fairly basic, with little choice of fruit and dishes, and it remains the same every day. A little more variety and abundance would make the experience even more enjoyable.

Great Location, lovely rooms. For us as a family it was great to have a little kitchen and eating table with chairs in the room. Breakfast was good, the children liked the waffle machine the most. Free water, coffee and tea always available. We could use beach towels und there are sunbeds on the beach for free. Had a great stay!

The floor felt a little sandy and it would be great to have something to hang wet bathing suites on.

I liked the location , the staff, the room was good spacious and clean,bathroom was good and clean also it was quiet and nice to sleep,bed was good also.

Small space for breakfast when its crowded takes time to get food especialy for wafles also toasting the bread take time. And i found and kill 2 huge roaches in the room wasnt nice.

Don't expect early checking as they don't have many rooms and remains busy. Approx 30min drive from airport Approx 20min drive from Port So budget 40USD in normal taxi ( pls negotiate) Incase want to go shopping, go to Dolphin mall ( 40min + , budget 60 to 70.USD on each side). Room have microwave, toaster, iron etc & one can buy basic food stuff from nearby., else lots of BF/Lunch/dinner options near by..under 50 to 100mtrs. They have big TV with lots of viewing options BF offered is simple but meaningful, we loved the simple offerings. I would love to be back here. 10/10 for my requirement/budget.

It was pretty big, it had everything necessary, it also was in the centre of south beach, so amazing location, there was good ac, they give you free hammocks with towels on the beach and they even kept our luggage while we were in New York, which was safe and sound. Basically we liked everything about it.
