From the moment we entered the hotel, everyone who greeted us, including the staff at the reception, was extremely helpful and informative, always ready to assist. Everyone, including the staff in the hotel's restaurant, was open to conversation and explanations and was very friendly. The size, spaciousness, and cleanliness of the room were all very good. The way the curtains darkened the room at night and the overall comfort were truly satisfying. The location and appearance of the hotel were truly impressive. It was an accommodation I could recommend to everyone. Thank you for everything.

Everything is wonderful

I was very happy with my stay at this hotel. I looked through many reviews and am happy that I chose the Marlin. The location is perfect and is one block from the beach near all of the festivities of Ocean Drive. There were many restaurants to choose from and small supermarkets to buy snacks and things for my kids. The hotel looks new and is well decorated. I loved the decor. The room was clean, modern and spacious (we had a deluxe suite). Even though the second bed was a pull out sofa, it was set up for us when we arrived and it was actually very comfortable for my kids. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The umbrella and chairs we received for the beach were helpful. we also had a beach bag and towels from the hotel that are in the room (and extra beach towels upon request). I had read in other reviews where people complained about the free breakfast. It is a continental breakfast with bagels, bread (that you can toast), fruit, muffins, pastries, yogurt...there are also boiled eggs (request how you want them). There was juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate packets, instant oatmeal and cereal. I thought the breakfast was sufficient and was satisfying. If you want a full hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, omelette , bacon, sausage, etc. then you need to go out somewhere. I highly recommend this hotel and will love to stay there again.

Beautiful room and great location. Loved that they provided beach chairs and umbrellas.

We booked this hotel as it included breakfast but on checking in we were told this was no longer included. This was very disappointing as it was a big factor in why we chose this hotel.

The room was beautiful, spacioush modern and extremly clean. The location is perfect Ocean drive is just one street away. Check in time was from 16:00 but I got there way earlier and as my room was ready they let me in. It was very kind from them, thank you again!

The room is extremly noisy. Our windows opened to the Collins avenue. Unfortunatelly this street is busy and the traffic is big. Plus just meters from the room there is a street lamp what is continously beeping. Just like an EKG machine. Never stop! Not even for a minute. We used earplugs ever night but still heard the noise. That was the only one negative thing but it is extremly annoying if you are tired and want to sleep.

Breakfast was not to the standard you expect from a hotel like this. Not much choice and sometimes no fruit available, coffee machine was broken one morning. Breakfast definitely needs improving.

The rooms are a good size, location was perfect, the rooms are so clean.

I would have preferred a better discount at the positano restaurant for guests that stay in the hotel.

Location is great. Right next to the beach but far enough from all clubs/party spaces so you can enjoy everything at once. Staff is fantastic, super friendly and helpful. Limhaul went above and beyond to help us during our stay. He should get a raise :)

Moldy/damp smell in the room. We've stayed in 212/311. No fresh air without open windows. Unfortunately, assholes on burpy loud pipe cars/motorcycles are running galore on the street until 1AM. So people with sensitive sleep should stay elsewhere. Hotels should pressure local authorities to start enforcing their legislated sound levels after 9PM.

Memorable hotel due to its historical art deco building status, with excellent almost beachfront location giving close access to the bustling restaurants lined up along the beach to best enjoy all the imagined Miami vibes coming true! Also, wonderful interior deco and the free use of beaxh bag and chairs was such a nice gesture. Recep Staff David was so busy yet very patient to explain room stuff in detail, and helpful in his recommendation of best seafood restaurants, so we had a great dinner choice!

We were lucky to get street parking just by the hotel, understand otherwise it would be next street, some garage place. It was a hassle though to keep topping up the parking fee, as our foreign-registered phone could not use the Parking App. Also, room was sightly smaller than expected, had no seating couch as shown when booking.

Really amazing location. Really excellent hotel that is very quiet, and well maintained. We had a super deluxe suite and it was huge and well equipped. The rooms themselves are very clean. The bathrooms are just a tiny bit worn, but overall very nice. The carpet was pretty worn out in the halls, but otherwise there's nothing else I can fault for the facilities. The things I'm pointing out are being very nitpicky. But I am a very picky traveler.

When we got into our room the room safe was locked. We were unable to reprogram it. We went to the front desk and they needed to use a laptop to reprogram the safe up in the room. The laptop was not charged to do this. We weren't super thrilled that we weren't able to lock up our valuables. No one mentioned setting the safe up at a later date. I called down to the front desk to ask a question and it was constantly busy for 30 minutes, so I went down to talk to the front desk about my beach bag/towels. He had the phone sitting off the hook while sitting there, which appeared purposely? Some of these things might not bother anybody else. Overall I would stay here again and I think it was an excellent property for the money.
