Great location

Came across one cockroach in our room. One staff member at the front desk stood out with his non-welcoming demeanor. He never smiled during our entire visit especially during Check-in. Option for breakfast should be more visible.

I recently stayed at Cavalier, and I must say the service was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt like truly valued guests. We were warmly greeted by Philip, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful! Although we arrived earlier than the standard check-in time, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us by getting us into our room early. Initially, we weren’t happy with the room, as it was on the first floor, but the staff quickly offered to move us the next day when a new room was available.. We decided to stay, but we appreciated their effort to help. Overall, the staff’s kindness and attention made our stay a great experience. Highly recommend!

the rooms could use a bit of a touch-up. We noticed a loose screw on the side mirror, and some bulbs weren’t working. These small issues didn’t affect our overall experience, but a little maintenance would make the stay even better.

The location was brilliant with beach so close and a bus stop 5 minutes away as we had got 150 bus from Miami Int airport. We were over for WZA event and it was only a short 5-10minute walk to the entrance. Friendly staff which was great and with indoor and outdoor seating there was always somewhere to sit regardless of t weather.

We stayed in room 110. Room was lovely however mirror in the bathroom was off the wall slightly from previous occupant and also there was large what I presume was aircon unit that ran most of the night. The breakfast tasted lovely however it was cold but warm enough to eat. Would also like a larger portion as teh free breakfast you were only allowed 1 item of it.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cavalier Hotel in Miami Beach. The hotel is set in a beautifully restored historic building, and our room featured a refined, stylish design. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was outstanding—always helpful and ready to assist with anything we needed. Beach towels and loungers are included in the price, which is a great bonus. The location is perfect, just steps away from the beach, bars, shops, and main attractions. There’s also a public parking garage right next door—very convenient for our rental car and reasonably priced at $20 per day. A truly great value for the area! The hotel is in an amazing location—close to the beach and bars, yet far enough to ensure a good night’s sleep. I stayed in room 112, which was comfortable, featuring a great king-size bed, a good shower, and a small fridge. Housekeeping cleaned the room daily, keeping everything fresh. A nice bonus was the free coffee and water available in the lobby. They also offer free beach chairs at Esteban's place near 14th Street, and at the time, umbrellas were available for an extra $20—a really great deal. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was fabulous, the atmosphere of South beach was lively, exciting and definitely a people watching experience. We loved the walk along south beach on a Saturday night, so much to see. The room was clean and ideal for a 1-2 night stay, especially the art deco feel which was so nice to experience.

The room was very small, which is fine for 1-2 night stay but could be cramped for longer periods. The bathroom didn't have anywhere to place toiletries which could be an issue for longer stays, but room was pleasant room for a short stay.

The art deco feel of the hotel was great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included with our stay and the breakfast was good. Can't beat the location for a stay where you're close to EVERYTHING South Beach. Would absolutely stay here again. The value is very hard to beat. Also to note, there is a public parking garage RIGHT around the corner on 13th and the price is very reasonable for the area (we paid $20/day). It's literally at few hundred feet to walk from the garage to the hotel. If you are familiar with the scarcity of good/cheap long term parking in South Beach, then you know how much of a plus this is!

I love older properties, it just brings me back in time. The decor was fabulous and I loved our room, so appealing! The staff is so great and accommodating for all your needs. I loved it was close to the beach and lots of dining options in the area. Just a fabulous place to spend your time in the South Miami Beach area. I did a lot of researching before booking at the Cavalier South Beach Hotel and I couldn’t have chose a better place to stay. Our next adventure in South Miami Beach will definitely be at the Cavalier South Beach Hotel. I just loved it!

Nothing

The location was perfect. It is on the quiet end of Ocean Drive, but an easy walk to all the action. The lobby is cool and quirky, to match the art deco facade. The first impression of the rooms was great. The decor fits the theme well and the bathrooms are modern.

The rooms are small. Small isn't usually a big deal, but we had no room to open luggage without using the bed or blocking walkways. We were only there for a single night, so we were still happy with our choice.

Great location and the hotel team were very helpful and attentive. We arrived during a terrible rainstorm and they helped us dry off and were able to check in straight away. We had dinner in the downstairs restaurant and it was delicious along with a cosy and smart restaurant area and theme.

Unfortunately the road in front of the hotel is closed to traffic which meant our taxi driver couldn't really find the best drop off point. Which in the rain was not ideal.
