This was the third hotel on our Florida trip. Overall, I think the hotel is underrated, especially on Google Maps. I would rate it 4.2 out of 5 or 8.5 out of 10. The hotel is perfectly located, with direct access to a beautiful beach in the heart of Miami Beach. It offers its own parking, which is very convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they take good care of the hotel. It is clean and well-maintained, which is impressive given the extremely humid Miami climate. The rooms are simple but equipped with all the necessary amenities for a short stay.

This seems to be common in Miami, but in addition to the hotel room cost, you need to factor in not only taxes but also a resort fee (mandatory, covering things like local phone calls, WiFi—which should be a standard service nowadays—and two sunbeds plus an umbrella on the beach, regardless of the weather or your plans), a parking fee, and breakfast. Most rooms that don’t face the street or the ocean (i.e., the majority of the rooms) face the wall of one of the neighboring buildings. During our stay, the main elevator was out of order. While this is likely a temporary issue, it could pose a challenge for guests with limited mobility. All in all, I would recommend this hotel, but be mindful of the points above and take them into consideration when planning your stay.

Location to the rear of the property is beautiful. Directly on the beach. Pool area is lovely as was the bar and restaurant. Rooms although not luxurious are comfortable and very pleasant, parking opposite the entrance to hotel but chargeable

Although only visited for one night we didn’t see the restaurant or bar open. I really feel the hotel are missing a trick here. We would have spent money in both had we been able. This was inconvenient and a shame as the seething is lovely. The property is on a one way Main Street, we drove by as the frontage is not very clear. There is no real drive on facility to drop bags other than parking on the sidewalk. The car park is opposite but takes a little finding with the one way system. Parking is charged which I feel should be included in this damn resort fee they all like to charge!

Check in with Angel was a pleasure. It was late and he made it bearable. Being able to get a bedtime cocktail was such a treat. I especially appreciated the hotel offering the ride service from the airport. It was so convenient, and everything worked out perfectly. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. The TV offered many channel selections, so I did not miss any of my regular shows. The pool is lovely, with direct beach, and boardwalk access. The adjacent bar and food service, with nearby restrooms really spoils you. A lot of good thought went into the design process here.

Whatever cleaning solutions are used in the room are really off-putting. I think perhaps it is used on the concrete floors. It is not a pleasant smell, and I could not open the windows to help air it out. The room was very clean, but the smell did not make it seem so. Perhaps an unscented choice would be better, or use a plug in air freshener to tame its odor would be helpful.

The location was perfect!!! The pool are and access to the beach are amazing. The room was comfortable, but at some of the other reviews state-there was a pretty strong smell..not bad, just very strong like chemical air fresheners or something. The room was nice and clean as were all the common areas. There was absolutely no view from the room, but for a hotel with a perfect location and nice amenities you really don’t spend much time in the room anyway. Would recommend!

The room is clean, comfortable with a nice walk-in shower. The location is excellent - right on the beach with a great pool complete with nearby bathrooms, a pool bar and restaurant. I love that it is a smaller property, so you are not overwhelmed by the walk to the beach, or back to your room for anything you may need. The hotel also provides beach chairs and umbrellas at no extra cost, and a low-cost parking lot right across the street. This is being spoiled in this area of Miami Beach. I lived in this neighborhood for eight years. The MB hotel makes it so easy to visit, so I do often. Next visit, I am going all out for a balcony room.

The room used to have a "too-clean" smell of cleaning products. The one I hated most - Fabuloso. That has been corrected, and this time, it had a pleasant scent. Clea but not overpowering. It was relaxing and did not offend my senses.

Oceanfront property means you don't have to cross the street to access the beach. Each room includes two lounge chairs and one umbrella set up on the sand - that's a great perk. We loved the location to great restaurants and shopping. The outdoor bar/restaurant area was really good too. We would stay here again, but keep in mind that very few rooms have any kind of view. Our room faced the wall of the adjacent building.

There was no view at all from our room - we looked south onto the neighboring building's wall. If you want a view of any kind (not just of the ocean), then ask for a room with a balcony as those are the only ones that will provide you with a view. The balconies either face the ocean or face the busy street (Collins) so when you make your reservations, pay attention to what room you are getting.

I appreciated the hotel's excellent location. Despite its small size, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The parking, although at an additional cost, is conveniently situated right in front of the hotel. Additionally, the layout is well-thought-out, with a main hallway that provides direct access to the pool and beach area, enhancing the overall convenience and experience. The staff is also very welcoming and proficient in multiple languages, which made communication easy and pleasant.

While the hotel has many positive aspects, there are areas that could be improved. The building is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. The elevators, in particular, are somewhat erratic and noisy, which was noticeable as our room was adjacent to them. Additionally, the bar closing at 6 PM was inconvenient, as I would have appreciated the opportunity to enjoy the pool area and dine at the hotel later in the evening. Lastly, there were minor cleaning issues that, although not major, did detract from the overall experience.

MB is a small, boutique hotel in a good location on Collins Ave. Nestled in between high rise buildings it was refreshing to have a little private place to relax. Even though MB is located right on a busy strip of Collins, there is no shortage of food in the area along with a Walgreens one block up. We enjoyed a show at the Bandshell on 73rd and saved money on an Uber with just a short walk back. The two chairs and umbrella that come with your room was definitely a plus.

The elevator was out of order and mainly inconvenient if your room is located in the front of the hotel. The mildewy/moldy smell that permeated the guest room and hotel halls was particularly unpleasant and would most likely prevent me from returning.
